Everything about this B&B was fabulous for me and my husband. I just love historic homes and this one lived up to my expectations. From the moment i stepped on the porch I new I was going to like it here. The attention to detail was evident everywhere i looked. The main floor of the home was grand with beautiful furnishings that invited you to sit down and relax. The main dining room where breakfast was served was open and very comfortable with individual tables for 2. Halina the owner, was fantastic. She showed us around the home and explained some of the history and showed us 2 of the large bedrooms we could choose from. Both were beautifully decorated but I just had to choose the one with the bathroom that was so big it could have been another bedroom. The bed itself was very comfy. The decor throughout the home was a little Ralph Lauren/Porrerybarnish. The linens were quality and a maid came to make our bed and change our towels each day while we were out and about in Greenport. I loved breakfast because it was a little self serve with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and juice waiting for you while Halina cooked up fantastic waffles Belgian style and french pressed your coffee to order. I just love Greenport and visiting the wineries and now I love the Fordham House as our new place to stay.
