Let me start off by saying there aren't many options in Great Neck and this probably one of your better options. From the pictures, it looks modern luxe but it isn't. They need some renovations due to the chipping plaster, they could modernize the heating & cooling in the room and get rid of the raggedy wall unit air conditioning, a new paint job along with some minor repairs could go a long way to getting this hotel to the modern luxe property it advertises to be. There is a TV cabinet in the room which they no longer use because the TV is on the wall but its still there to serve as the bar - they could utilize that space better by replacing it with a small cabinet or shelving. The bathroom was super small. I agree with another poster that I would stay here again but only after looking into other options. I didn't take my dog with me but to pet owners they charge $150 fee if you bring your furry family members.
