“Could not have asked for better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect. Nice campground, kept up, clean restrooms, family activities, playground, etc. Our daughters loved the life sized checker board. Love the pool and the beach area. There are two zip lines, we wanted to try them however the times they had did not fit with our schedule. Staff is friendly, sites are really nice. We stayed on site 54 which is a large site facing trees and bushes, all the sites appear to be decent size, some larger than others. My husband over heard a conversation with the front office staff when a family came in, they wanted a shaded site, the staff sent someone out in a golf cart to find a site that had shade - they went that extra step. Canoe and kayak rentals are cheaper than any other campground we have been at; $5 for an hour! I cannot find anything bad to say. We are very happy we found this campground, close to the falls, easy on and off the island, easy access to main roads.

Room Tip: Some sites do have more room, the site map seems to be accurate. The staff is good at giving you wha...

We just got back this week (07/21/13) from Branches of Niagara, the campground is clean and the sites are nicely spaced apart. The campground has two zip lines, one for the little ones and one for the older ones, the only problem is they run only once a day, except on Saturday. The canoeing and kayaking are fun, as well as the small beach. The pool is too small, more like a lazy river than a pool and not much fun because of it. The activities are ok but need to be expanded. A game room where the kids could go would be nice. The island is under utilized and would be a good location for movie nights instead of the activity center which is small. The bathrooms are nice and clean but they could some air. Overall we had a good experience at Branches and would return if we are ever back in the area.

In addition the campground is about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls and 5 minutes from the local restaurants, market and gas and Martins amusement park, a great central location. We recommend the Beach House on E. River Rd, for great food and the best wings.

Room Tip: We stayed in our trailer, but noticed the small cabins by the lake had no air. It was hot the week w...

We live about an hour from Branches campground and just want a place where we can bring the kids to get away for the weekend! We finally found that place. Our kids love it! We love it! The price is reasonable, the activities are plentiful! The zip line was a huge hit with all of us. Clean showers and restrooms, pool, lake, kyaking, canoeing, informative, friendly staff, etc. But most importantly for us is that it felt like we were camping! We had a site that backed into the woods, it was shady and private! Bravo to those who planned for each family to have some room and a bit of privacy as we strive to create camping memories!

Awesome place, beautiful location, very friendly staff and superb service.
One of the owner couple visited us daily to make sure we are comfortable and having maximum fun while staying there. It felt so personalized.

We camp every summer, and have been to well over 50 campgrounds. This was one of our very favorite places. It is gorgeous, pristine, constantly maintained, and fun. There are many things to do, and even doing nothing is enjoyable. The camp is 5 minutes away from stores and gas, and there are things to do nearby. The store is well stocked, and people were friendly. My only glitch was that the wifi was very weak at our campsite. However, 4G worked fine. It is a fabulous place to camp.

The campground is fairly new, so all the facilities are modern and clean. The staff was super friendly. There is a lot for kids to do, even if you don't pay for the extra activity pass. Mini-golf was free, but not the greatest course. There are multiple craft activities every day. The disc golf course was OK, but too much water around for smaller kids to play without skipping some sections or being really careful. Short trip to the falls.

We tent-camped overnight with our Cub Scout pack during a trip to Niagara Falls and we were so impressed! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the camp ground amenities. The grounds, pool, bathrooms, and showers are nice and clean. They have a small zipline across the pond that looked like a lot of fun for the kids. The office has Keurig coffee for sale in the morning (the adults from our group were SO thankful for that). The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a quick trip to Niagara Falls and Old Fort Niagara. I would love to bring my family back for a longer stay in the future.
