“Best contact to nature!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011 via mobile

I loved the hotel rooms and the cleanliness was exceptional compared to others motels. The best feature of the motel is the garden they have outside the rooms which I found to be a place to have peace with your mind.

I read the reviews on here and decided that for $59 a night we would give it a try. Very glad we did. Was it 5 star accomidations not at all. Was it clean, well kept up and comfortable- yes. Was it a little dated- sure but everything was clean and comfortable. They have very large rooms and spacious bathrooms. Chateau Motor Lodge had a fountain and picnic tables out front that my kids loved. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily. They take pride in their establishment and it shows. We visit the Buffalo Niagara Falls area about 6xs a year and We will stay again.

Stayed 3 nights in February while visiting family and attending a Sabres vs. Blues hockey game. Great location, convenient to Tops grocery store, Tim Horton's and Macmahon's diner across the street (excellent breakfast and friendly service). The room was clean, warm and quiet. The microwave and fridge were very handy. Russ, the inn-keeper on duty during our stay was teriffic. Our arrival was significantly delayed and he actually called me on the road to confirm that were still going to make it. He stayed on and waited for us until 10:30pm, had a light on in our room and the heat set just right for a cold WNY night. Was almost like staying at a relative's home! Will definitely stay again.

It was the Canadian Thanksgiving Day Holiday and US Columbus Day Holiday so Hotel/Motel rooms in the Niagara Falls area were scarce. We needed a simple room to sleep over on Saturday night before we headed out to Grove City the next day. We decided to take a chance with this motel. We were pleasantly surprised. A classic case of not judging a book by it's cover. Yes the building and the facilities are older but they are well kept. The man at checkin was very courteous and even upgraded me to a room with a big Fridge. It probably used to be an efficiency room but they must have taken out the stove and kitchen plumbing. We checked the beds for the dreaded bed bugs - NONE. Absolutely spotless. The carpet was clean. OK, so the TV only had about 10 channels or so but we didn't care. We got a huge clean room, comfortable beds to sleep in and the next morning - the Church was 3 minutes away and Tim Hortons was just down the road. Will definitely visit again.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2010

My party of four arrived after a very long trip from a weekend wedding in Vermont. We got to the motel long after dark but had no problems finding it. We reserved two rooms and asked to see them before checking in and the desk clerk was very accommodating. The rooms were clean with what seemed to be updated bathrooms. There were two face bowls in each bathroom (very helpful for ladies) and a small tub with shower. Amenities included free wireless internet, TV with some cable stations, full size refrigerator, microwave, and window air conditioner (which worked!). The only thing that my friend (a serious coffee drinker) missed in the room was a coffee maker with coffee packets, sugar, creamer, and etc. There was a Tim Horton's not to far but she really likes have coffee first thing in the morning. Outside of the coffee issue, this motel had very reasonable rates and parking in front of the room was a plus - especially when bringing in the luggage. I chose this motel because of the recent reviews, rates, and its proximity to Niagara Falls. It is only a 10 - 15 minute drive to the Falls and was quiet - close enough but away from the crowds.

This was our first stay at the Chateau Motor Lodge and being from Canada it can be a little stressfull when makeing reservations for somewhere you have never been to and not knowing what to expect. Well I was very pleased with the exceptional customer service that we received and the facility was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The hotel is also very conveniently located and easy to find. Most definately a great value. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chateau Motor Lodge and will most definately be back very soon!
