“The perfect honeymoon get away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Take it from a local; The place is AMAZING. The staffs: Super friendly and effective, The island: stunning and has all the Seychelles can offer, The Service: Stunning (sometimes i wonder is the butlers and drivers station behind your villa, the response is faster that calling 999). Activities: plenty to venture in. The cuisine: beyond exquisite, especially "Le mont fleuri Restaurant."

Special mention to Walter (guest relation), Karen (reception) and Anthony (room service) for making our stay one to be remembered and for the special moments on our special night.

My only critic would be to improve on the departure... if only it was as personalized as the arrival.

I would recommend anyone planning their stay to choose the all inclusive package.

Room Tip: I somehow prefer the room away from the main compound... seems quieter and offer more privacy

Sainte Anne is,b y far, the best 'tropical resort' hotel we have stayed at. When I say it was amazing, I'm underrating it.
The rooms are absolutely perfect, since we were a family we had two connected Ocean Villas.
The villas look exactly as they look in the photos - with all the commodities you could wish for.
I suggest you try out all of the restaurants, since they all have great food!
All the beaches in the island are simply paradasiac. Despite having gone during a rainy season, the rain really makes no difference, it is the same temperature as the air and sea water. On the last 3 days of our trip, we got sunburnt since the sun came out, so I think the rain was even good!
The bycicles provided really make your life so much easier, and you can even ride around the beach which is wonderful!
I cannot stop comparing Sainte Anne to any of the other hotels we go to, and there simply is no comparison, Sainte Anne wins over them all.
I would go back any day.
Thank you so much to all the staff who made this trip so amazing!

Room Tip: They are all amazing, but try get an Ocean Villa as it's closer to the beach.

Paradise is a word too often used to describe holiday resorts. Sainte Anne Resort is a true contender for the title. The location is just wonderfull, so near yet so far from the main bustling island of Mahe, which is well worth the 15 minute boat trip even if it is just to look forward to getting back onto your own private island. Of course you are not alone as this is a holiday resort, but sitting in your villas garden with your own very private pool which is only a short stroll away from an amazing beach you could well be Robinson Crusoe. Saying that, Robinson Crusoe would have given his right arm for the attentive service and sublime food that is on offer at this all inclusive resort. This is without doubt a cast away island with 5 star service.

I need to go again...soon.

Room Tip: Ask for a villa with a pool.

We travelled from the UK and arrivied on 09/10/12 early hours for 11 nights. Although it was only 0630 Hours it was 28 degrees and a very warm welcome. We had a short wait for our villa (526) having a coffee and taking in the views whilst the room was prepared. We were met by our wedding co-ordinator "Walter" who was most attentive and appeared from no-where given the early hour. Having read some previous reviews back in July/August we almost changed destination, We are so glad we did not. Our villa was very comfortable and an ideal location just a very short walk from the beach and a lovely walk along the sea boardwalk to reception and the buffet restaurant. The staff were all amazing, I will not mention names because they all made our stay so special. They work so hard and are a credit to Saine Anne and the Seychelles. Most are local staff and some employed from India they are all excellent and cannot do enough for you. It may appear that things seen so layed back that you may doubt they will happen(ie wedding arrangements) but it all does and in such a no stress way.The views and beach are amazing, the sea so clear and warm. I have travelled quite a bit and seen many places in ever continent including Mauritius which many seem to compare, and the Seychelles beaches, sea and scenery are by far the best. This is a nutural environment and not as polished as Mauritius but better somehow.Although there are three main beaches, obviously due to prevailing weather/winds at some times of the year one is likley to be unused due to wind direction and sea weed, it is all natural and I cannot understand how some people previously have had issue with this. The resort was running at 85% occupancy and you certainly did not sense this, it appeared quite and never busy or over run. The resort is mainly couples with a few families but it makes it a nice atmosphere, the only thing which would ruin the ambiance would be large groups. We got married on 15/10/12 on the beach near Le'Robinson, I had reservations with a beach wedding but it was amazing, it was so special, just my now wife and myself, Walter,Thomas (both witnesses) and the registrar Vivian Labiche. They were fantastic,it was a very special moment and it felt like we were the only people that had ever done this (obviously not) but thats how it felt. The weather was better than I ever thought, Mahe seemed bothered with cloud/rain some days but Saine Anne was always mainly in the sun, it rained am when we arrived and am the day we left.We did an excursion to Praslin and La Digue which was rather expensive (300 EUR) for 2 but worth it, La Digue's beaches are something else, its just a shame everybody landed their at the same time. Moyenne is lovely (10 Minutes away) its a shame the owner Brendan has recently passed away but the island is still being kept as a nature reserve. Take some insect spray, we did not suffer too badly but some people did. Paradise is all I can say, I would go back in a heart beat.I would like to thank all the staff for making our trip so special. I could go on and fail to see how anyone could fault this destination.

Such an amazing short stay! Food, service, accommodation all of the highest standard but what made it for me is the beautiful setting. Amazing views, gorgeous beaches & lovely snorkelling with a whole range of fish only ever seen in an aquarium back home!!
The all inclusive option was exemplary - high quality & a good range of food & drinks. Highly recommend!

What an amazing, unforgettable holiday we had at Sainte Anne Resort. Sainte Anne truly is a dream holiday destination, offering only the best! We were surprised with a spectacular room upgrade on arrival and our very own club car to get around in! The Resort is absolutely breathtaking with lovely restaurants and paradise beaches. Food at all restaurants is incredible and definitely 5 star standard. Jean-Loup, thank you for always looking after us at meal times.
The staff are very tentative and always smiling, making you feel extremely welcome.
We received exceptional service from the moment we stepped onto the resort right until the moment of departure.
An extraordinary, intimate dinner was organised for us on the evening of our wedding anniversary, words cannot describe how special it was. Such great attention to detail in all the arrangements for our special day.
Kervyn Rayeroux we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your exceptional hospitality during our stay and for taking such good care of us. This is a holiday we will never forget thanks to you!
