“Charming inn & Gracious Hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2011 via mobile

Paul and Marcia have thought of every detail to make your stay in their home a wonderful experience. The rooms are all so fresh and clean filled with lovely furnishings and beautiful linens and fresh flowers and herbs from their beautiful gardens. Too bad for us that it rained and we didn't get to sit under the tree for which our room is named.

Breakfasts were amazing....a 5 star restaurant could not do better in presentation or preparation.

And the location is ideal for walking along one of the loveliest city streets in America or walking to downtown restaurants or to Normal Bakery for the best bread ever.

Paul and Marcia made our stay such an enjoyable experience that it was very hard to say goodbye. We hugged like old friends and then hugged again.

My husband and I stayed here last year and loved it. We couldn't wait to come back this year. 2 nights was not enough...I want to live there! It's spotlessly clean, beautiful and comfortable, wonderful breakfasts, the inkeepers Paul and Marcia are amazing, and the location is gorgeous. We plan to go back every year if we can and I often think about being there because it's so relaxing. Cannot say enough about how much I love it!!!

Paul and Marcia are gentile, solicitous and friendly while allowing their guests the space to find their own enjoyment in Geneva and its surrounding area. We stayed in the delightfully cheery Catalpa Room which was well-appointed with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Paul's yummy and filling breakfasts are topped off by Marcia's freshly-picked herbs (see photo). The living room is filled with an array of books and objects to keep one occupied for hours. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. We chose to go to Halsey's for two consecutive dinners because it was so good. Marcia even made our reservations for the first night. Normal Bread is a fantastic bakery just a block away that bakes loaves of Heaven! Do NOT miss their zucchini bread - I guarantee you have never had anything like it! Sitting at the top of Seneca Lake - an area replete with fun and interesting things to do, the Three Tree Inn is as restful and relaxing a place you'll find to renew and recharge. We'll definitely be back!

My husband & I went to Geneva for Musselman Triathlon weekend [we were highly impressed with the races - best we've participated in]. It was our 1st wkend away without our daughter so I thought it'd be nice to stay at a B & B. Wow - did we ever make the best choice! Marcia & Paul were genuinely nice & welcoming. Their Inn is comfortable & charming with so much attention to detail. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We had thought we'd have to miss out on breakfast due to our early race starts but no - Paul & Marcia made sure we were well nourished with healthy & delicious breakfasts. They wished us well for our races & wanted to hear about it afterwards. They are close to town [~0.5mi] & the race site at Seneca Lake State Park [~3 mi]. Once we got to the Inn, we never used our car, we just biked everywhere. We had such a fantastic weekend. I hope we can go back again!

Paul and Marcia have a ‘real’ hidden gem!
The detail and thought put into everything at The Three Tree Inn is wonderful.
They made our stay such an enjoyable time that it was very hard to say goodbye.
Paul’s breakfast in the morning was of 5 star quality and Marcia eye for detail in the smallest of things made our stay a visual experience as well.
It was exactly what we wanted – walking distance to town to enjoy some of the lovely restaurants (that stock the local wine) and also have the pleasure of enjoying a few
G &T’s in The Three Trees Inn’s secluded garden.
The rooms, bathrooms and lounge were beyond comfortable.
If you are after gracious hosts that are there to help when you need it and then have the knowhow to leave you to enjoy their lovely Inn – this is the place for you!
Wishing all the best Paul and Marcia.

Everything about our stay at the Three Tree Inn felt like pure luxury. I cannot say enough about this gem. Paul & Marcia made our stay a memorable experience. From the fluffy towels to the beautiful breakfasts and the little fresh flowers placed in our room - it was magnificent.
The Three Tree Inn is sited on a beautiful suburban leafy street, but with only a short walk from the town centre it is perfectly situated. This is a 'must' if you are visiting Geneva.
After touring some of the local wineries we ended our last night at the Three Tree Inn with a glass of meritage in the garden - a perfect stay , a perfect location and perfect hosts. Thanks Paul & Marcia!

BEAUTIFUL inn, very cozy and comfortable. The proprietors, Paul and Marcia, went out of their way to make our stay relaxed and pampered. We had the Catalpa Room, a 2-person suite. The beds are very soft and cozy-- lots of pillows! The TV is very small (it's a computer monitor LCD with TV cable and DVD capability) and is tucked into an armoire. Free wireless Internet. VERY clean bathrooms with all the little things that made it special (tea-olive soap bars, etc).

The place is squeaky clean and the neighborhood very quiet. Restaurants, shops, Seneca Lake, parks, etc all within walking distance or short drive.

Breakfast was phenomenal- Eggs Benedict with orange juice and fresh French-pressed coffee. Paul and Marcia were very friendly. We felt like we made new friends. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet time away from the rat race. Prepare to be spoiled rotten. ;)

I thoroughly reviewed this inn on my travel blog NewYorkTraveler.net. You can go there for more details and some nice photos of the inn and rooms!
