The drive here from Cooperstown was about 30 minutes, nice drive, scenic. We initially passed it, it's a very unassuming big barn that looks like any other farm/barn in the area. Nothing to really distinguish it as a brewery. We pulled in and felt kind let down (after having been to Ommegang brewery which was very nice, more of a "city" mainstream location/setup). We really only wanted to go 1- because it was on the brewery trail and 2- Pork slap beer is an inside joke in our circle, someone brought it to a party, we got a kick out of the name, and it was god awful beer. So we wanted to say we saw the place for kicks. We were better off without wasting the trip. No GPS signal out here, got lost down some unpaved dirt road listed as a "major highway"... good lord. Learned lesson, don't rely on cell or GPS signals out in the country, your screwed unless you have a good old classic paper map. Or your a local and don't need one.
