“Perfect way to warm up on a cold winter day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

If you enjoy whiskey, this is a great spot to visit. It doesn't take much time and it's a very enjoyable experience. The woman behind the counter was quite pleasant and knowledgable. She made us feel very welcome there. There was a good variety of spirits to try. I enjoyed all three of the whiskeys that I sampled. You get to keep the glass, which is perfect for enjoying at home.

“I don't know whiskey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

For a nice break from wineries and their nearly indistinguishable presentations it was fun trying a distillary.

“Super distillerie / great distillery ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

That s definitely a place to visite. I like whiskey and I bought the baby bourbon which is for me the most tasty and different of the proposal
The welcome is great and packaging and marketing is perfect.

C est
Un endroit à visiter si vous êtes dans le coin. C'est une petite distillerie avec beaucoup de caractère. Et le baby bourbon est une grande réussite.

“Great atmosphere in this tucked away restaurant.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

The building is beautiful and the staff accommodating. They were able take a large party up stairs but the parking was difficult. Food and drinks were excellent.

“Good Taste in Tuthilltown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Being only an occasional drinker, I wasn't all that excited when a crafts shop in the area recommended a visit to "the distillery up the road." Well, this place is absolutely terrific. Country setting, beautiful porch, nice shop. My friend and I skipped the tour and went right to a tasting...a "flight" of bourbons, gin and whiskey. We were both so impressed we bought presents of the delicious Half Moon wheat and apple gin and small batch Jack Rudy tonic. They have a really nice shop where you can sample and buy bourbons, whiskeys, vodka and elixirs. Because N.Y. law doesn't allow them to ship, you have to go there to buy spirits. But they can ship the fabulous Wood's barrel-aged maple syrup...it has a smokey bourbon aroma. Just used some in a pecan pie...woo-hee. I saved the best (for me) for last....the chocolates...laced with bourbon. I took a box to a dinner party in NYC and everyone had one after dessert....they were swooning! Yes, this place is worth a visit. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
