“fun for all ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Went here on a busy Sunday afternoon, but there is so much to see and do that it's still fun if it's crowded. Pre-school area for small kids, but they enjoy pressing the buttons and playing with all the hands-on exhibits along with the big kids and adults. One of the local meterologists gave a lecture that was very good. Don't miss the Hall of Mirrors.

Cafe is okay and has staff who help seat you at a table - great feature when it's crowded. No food from the outside is permitted, but they do look the other way for meals for toddlers and babies.

Bathrooms are clean and there are several well-marked facilities in the building. There is also a coat check and stroller parking.

Plenty of hands on activities for students, to help them to understand and become interested in science.

“SPOOKTACULAR EVENTS!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

TOOK MY SON FOR HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE... but it has been a long time favorite spot of him and his friends since he was 2 years old. A treasure trove of manipulatives and hands on activities for kids of all ages... complete with a cafeteria and gift shop and outdoor science and sprinkler park to cook down in the summer at a little extra fee.

“Science is Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The exhibits were set up very logically by areas on each floor. Although it was crowded, it didn't seem to inhibit the visit. There is a nice variety of attractions to see. We like the hands on!

“Museum great for young children”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

The museum is best for young children, up to age 10. Interesting hands on activities. Would not recommend museum for teens.
