Breakfast was decent - they served real oatmeal which I LOVE. The eggs were like cardboard though - they need to work on that. They do have a waffle maker, which was kind of fun, but they kind of just tasted like soft ice cream cones - - I think the batter recipe needs to be improved. The staff were nice and helpful. There is a pool.

One thing that I found odd is their repetition in the form of signage, notes, and other advertising that the special feature of a room at the Hampton Inn is that the sheets, pillows, and duvet covers, etc., are always clean. Isn't that what they are SUPPOSED to be ???? I understand that there are many places that are really filthy and should not be operating, but is this really what we have come to - that it is a "special feature" that my sheets are clean??

Overall, you'll be ok staying at the Hampton Inn in Fishkill. Make sure that you check their rates up until the time that you stay, sometimes rates will drop, and they should honor whatever price they post online - (I had to insist on that with a manager, which was ridiculous.)

We stayed overnight while in attendance for a funeral. Everyone was great. Rooms were very clean, nice warm lobby, just all around comfortable. Ariel, who was in charge of the breakfast made sure it was inviting. The coffeee was great, she wiped up spills promptly, replenished the trays and asked if there was anything we needed. She was very kind to our group. She made sure we all had something to eat before the funeral, knowing that it would be a grueling day for us. She was kind and compassionate and accomodating, as was the check in staff, and the check out staff. They should all be promoted! I'd like to thank Hampton Inn for making our stay comfortable, at a most uncomfortable time. We will use your hotels again when we travel. Hopefully it will be on fun trips in the future!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday, in a handicapped room since I was recovering from a hip replacement. The room had everything I needed, including a shower seat and a great set of grab bars for using the tub and toilet. The hotel was lovely and clean, with a cheerful and efficient staff. The coffee was good and the breakfast bar had a good variety of choices. The woman in charge, Arielle, kept it well stocked and made a point to ask us if we had everything we needed - the service she provided couldn't have been better. We both love the idea that we are getting a completely clean bed, no more having a dirty bed spread pulled up over the pillows we'll be sleeping on. (And we thought the pillows were great!) Finally, the "green" light bulbs actually worked well, a huge improvement over the ones we've found in other hotels.

Wonderful place to stay... Lobby is beautiful, staff is great and pool area is very nice! Beds are comfy too. The hotel is in a great location. Lots of places to eat in the area. Movie theater across the street. Ample parking in the lot. Hotel is very clean and doesnt have that "funny hotel smell".

The staff was exceptional in helping us with whatever we might need. Complementary coffee and tea all day. Breakfast was well taken care of. Our room was clean and comfortable. Easy access. Very pleased!

We sought refuge from Super Storm Sandy at this Hampton Inn in Fishkill, NY. The front desk staff (Alex, Ryan and Stephen) were incredibly warm and welcoming, and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Especially considerate was Aerial who worked during breakfast. There was nothing she wouldn't do for us! Our room was clean, and we were very happy to know that a clean duvet was provided for every guest. (Many hotels leave us wondering when the last time the bedspread was washed). We were given an excellent rate -- no price gouging here despite a fully booked hotel. Our pool stayed open during the storm whereas across the road the Marriott Courtyard closed theirs. The included hot breakfast was wonderful with truly something for everyone. Now, why 4 stars rather than 5? Horrible pillows for one. I was going to give them a pass since many hotels now provide awful pillows, but it is time for someone to blow the whistle on this, especially in a Hilton hotel. One has to watch TV from the bed, and when three pillows fail to provide enough support, something is wrong with those pillows. They also provide zero comfort when trying to sleep. Our room also suffered from a toilet that was so very efficient that it more often than not failed to flush everything. Even several flushings in a row failed to complete the task! The sink also drained too slowly. In my case the bottom fitted sheet didn't quite fit the bed, so despite struggling to pull with all my might to make it fit, it just didn't, and of course came loose during the night. The shower walls were a little icky looking. It may not have been mold, but it looked like it. All in all, somewhat minor complaints, but things that could well be attended to. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

After spending a day at West Point we spent the night here rather than return to upstate NY. About 35 minutes from West Point. Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking close to the building.
