When I walked into my room, it smelled as though someone had been smoking in there. The beds were comfortable, but the furnishings are quite old. My room also had a refrigerator and microwave. But the elevator stopped working later in the evening. I got my exercise from climbing the stairs; a good thing because I found the pool closed a half hour early with no explanation. My clock radio was broken; the desk clerk said there were no replacements available until the next day. Lot of good that did! I found a smoke alarm under my towels in the bathroom. There was only coffee-no tea--to drink. The water spigot in the bathtub had no water in it for a minute. I don't know what their reaction would have been at the front desk if I had no water. Breakfast started at 630am so people could get an early start.

We stayed here for a weekend because we were attending a function in the area and it was quite cheap. The room was a bit dated, but large and comfortable. The hotel does allow pets though, which always leaves a slight odour. Breakfast was just about adequate. The pool only opens from 4pm to 9pm: we'd have liked to swim in the afternoon.

We needed a halfway point between Massachusetts and Maryland, and this fit the bill. They do NOT charge for pets, which is important for a short stay like this. They have free fast internet and a free breakfast, also handy for a road trip. Room was very clean and well equipped, except for outlets, which is typical. Room had no smell, which is impressive considering we were in a pet room. hotel was pretty quiet, again good, as we were on a pet hallway. Overall, nothing fancy, but no complaints. Location near theater complex and TONS of restaurants is also handy for a quick stay.

We were in the area to pack up a relative's house and had made a reservation for 6 nights. This was the best priced in the area at the time. All other hotels were $250+ due to the 'leaves changing color'. That's the good news. After you check in at the desk, you have to drive up a hill around the back of the hotel to get in. Think of a side entrance/exit door to a parking lot - that's it. Our room on the second floor was old and in need of a good cleaning. The bathroom was the smallest one I have ever seen in a hotel and also dated. For 'breakfast' we had to walk down a long hall, go down the elevator to the first floor, walk another hallway, and then go down the elevator to the first floor (yes, this is NOT an error). The food was right there off the elevator: coffee, donuts, toast, bagels, cereal, apples, and cold hard-boiled eggs. Then you carry your food down a few steps to the tables. Obviously, this hotel is not for someone with mobility issues. After 'breakfast' (I had coffee), the elevators were not working. From the repair man's comments, we understood that this happened often. So, we trekked back to our room, checked out, bought an air mattress at Sam's Club right down the road, and slept on that in an otherwise empty house. We do not recommend this hotel.

The location to the Westchester Theater is perfect. The accommadations were clean and maintained perfectly and the breakfast was perfect for what we needed. Good price considering it is in White Plains. Would recommend

My wife and I stayed for two days while visiting family in Hawthorne. The room was very clean and in good order. The free breakfast was very good. The pool hours were quite limited which I understand is a result of a local ordinance requiring a life to be on duty in the pool while open. I found the frond deck clerk to be friendly and helpful. All in all a good value.
