The room (125) offered a first-floor ski-in and ski-out which was easily accessible to the Sunrise lift. We loved the convenience to catch the lift and start skiing right away. Another convenience was a nice size ski locker outside the doorway which easily held 4 pairs of ski=is and ski boots.

We were originally put in another room but the room had a bit of smell. The staff was very accommodating (and friendly) and put us into room 125. The room were clean and had two queen size beds, and it was an average size. Given that we were out skiing all day long, the size was really not an important factor. The bathroom had two sinks which was helpful, although two of the three lights were out. There were plenty of hooks for jackets and snow pants which helped in keeping the room organized.

The hotel also offered a shuttle over to the slopes and we were able to get our lift tickets at the desk. Convenient. After a full day of skiing, we went to the hotel lounge to find out that the bar wasn't open due to occupancy (we were there on a Wednesday and Thursday). This to me was very disappointing. This is a ski resort during the middle of Winter, and in my opinion, the bar should be open. The staff kindly suggested we go across the street to Cadillac Jacks or to the ski lodge, but we had wanted to hang out and play cards and have a drink.

Overall a nice stay and would come back again for the skiing.

With hesitation we booked our room. We'd stayed here 22 years ago and were concerned it would be run down. But we were SO happy we booked our room. It exceeded our expectations for the price, especially if you purchased your discounted lift tickets at the desk ($7 off per ticket). Room clean and fresh with balcony to the slopes. Nothing extravagant but all that you require. Nice breakfast included downstairs. Staff were very professional. Enjoyed the warm indoor-outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub after a hard-hitting day on the slopes. Thanks for a nice stay!

How can you market an indoor/outdoor pool at a ski resort and then say the outdoor pool is closed to save energy!?!??!! We were not informed of this policy change at the time of booking or check in. I haven't seen any energy savings credit on our bill. We booked 5 rooms for families and kids. We specifically selected the hotel so they could go in the pool at night after skiing. What a disappointment!

This hotel was so nice and we enjoyed our stay so much. We were there in the summer and it was beautiful, quiet, and very clean. The staff was wonderful. We will return and maybe even in the winter.
