We stayed here the Friday night of the Martin Luther King long weekend on Jan. 15. We paid over 300 for the night. Yes, it's convenient, but at a cost. Everything was really clean and new, well because the place was new. The ribbon cutting ceremony I understand it was 4 days prior. They have a small exercise room, small (enough for only a few people) indoor pool, an outdoor pool (can accomodate ~15 people) and 2 small hot tubs. The hot tubs were occupied most of the time and same with the pool. My one gripe is the change rooms at the pool were tiny, there was only 1 bathroom (1 shower and 1 toilet) plus some small lockers, the change room could probably only hold 2-3 people at a time.
The lady that checked us in on Fri. night was really helpful and friendly, she gave us an extra key so we could use the showers/hot tub on Sat afternoon, even though we checked were suppose to have checked out by that time.
You can buy lift tickets at the front desk at a discount, an all day pass good until 4pm was only 42 bux (vs 55 normally) and the all day all night pass was 51 (vs 58), although the lady at front desk the next morning didn't want to give us the $42 deal until I pushed for it.
We got a "Deluxe" room but the room was very small, probably about 150 sq ft. It had a fridge and a microwave and a small TV, but that was it. The bed was suppose to be Queen but it was one of those "California" queen beds, so it was really the size of an oversized double...
They have underground parking, but it was very small, we did find a spot on the Fri night, but by Sat., it was packed, and I don't know where anyone else would park. My suggestion is to try to find parking in here as soon as you arrive and just leave your car in here.
They have a ski check which was convenient so we didn't have to carry our skis into our rooms or bang into people trying to lug their skis around the hallways.
Our 300 did not include breakfast, but a short walk to the cafe/chalet there was 3.99 daily breakfast which included a large portion of home fries, bread, scrambled eggs and sausage.
Overall, the place was nice, although smaller than what I expected. The cost was quite a bit on the high side. I think next time we will probably stay elsewhere and drive into Ellicotville, but the convenience cannot be beat.
