We spent a beautiful November weekend at the inn with another couple. The inn was immaculate, cozy & warm. Wilfred & Vida were wonderful hosts. Vida prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning, and all the guests gathered at the dining room table to eat & chat. It was a wonderful experience & we highly recommend anyone to visit.

A great place to stay . Owners Wilfred & Vedaare very accomadating. They are very informed about the area,reccommending excellent local restaurants & wineries.
The property is an old Victorian ,and is equally styled. I would reccommend this B & B for a getaway to do nothing.

After travelling to NY for my sons wedding and spending 3 days in NYC, we had wanted our last 3 days of holiday to be restful. Searching online, we found the Arbor View House B&B. It looked like it would be just what we were looking for. Well, upon our arrival we were absolutely thrilled. Our hosts, Veda and Wilfred, met us with tea and cakes served in china cups in the parlour. We chatted for some time and they told us all about places to go, things to do and the best places to eat. Our room, the Zinfandel, was very comfy with a queen size, 4-poster bed with steps for climbing in. The bed was so comfy - I don't know if I've ever slept that well before! The room was well equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and CD players, desk, sofa, bottled water, and fresh flowers throughout - even in the bathroom! The bathroom was nicely decorated - tiled floors and walls, with an enclosed Jacuzzi tub - very nice indeed! They have ample parking, are within walking distance of the Long Island Sound, and have beautiful gardens with chairs and tables should you like to relax outdoors. They also offer spa services - we didn't utilize this service but others that weekend did and raved about it. We must mention Veda's breakfasts! What a wonderful cook. Her food is the best I think we've ever had while on holiday - nicely cooked and presented and she uses just the right spices to make them even more tasty and original. We felt like we had gone home staying at the Arbor View - such a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend this B&B for a romantic get away, a peaceful weekend, or just for touring around Long Island. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to LI! Thanks Veda & Wilfred!! Well done!

We just had such an incredible experience at the Arbor View House. Even your own family could not make you feel as welcome as Wilfred and Veda did this past weekend. They are filled with knowledge about the area and are happy to share ideas about where and how to spend your time while in this beautiful area of Long Island. Very unintimidating and friendly, They create an atmosphere where you may never want to leave.
