“ABSOLUTELY PERFECT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012

My wife and I spent a night at the Art House Bed and Breakfast and could not have been more impressed. Nothing I am going to describe in this review will give this place the justice it deserves -- you really just have to go and see for yourselves. The property is immaculate, huge, impeccable, comfortable and gorgeous. Rosalind and Michael have thought of everything; it's the kind of place where you go into each section of of the house and shake your head at how nice it is. On to the breakfast: it's incredible. Imagine that great breakfast you had a few years ago at that really nice restaurant and then multiply it by ten. It's that good. As awesome as the house is and magnificient as the breakfast was, the best part about the entire stay was the owners, Rosalind and Michael. They could teach a class on how to run a B & B. They give you all the space you need but are there for any questions that come up. Coming out for breakfast in the morning you will feel as though you're staying with relatives -- you are that at ease. Out of all of their attributes, they can best be summed up like this: they are genuinely super nice people. This is obviously a glowing review but I still don't think I adequately described how incredible this place is. All the great reviews they have received are well earned -- you will absolutely not want to leave the Art House.

This is the first time we have responded to reviews and we are happy to do so. Actually, we just realized that we can to do this. So, first, we thank you for this amazing review and the same goes for all our other guests who have taken the time to write about us.

Paraphrasing Mahatma Gandhi: we want you all to know that our guests are the most important visitors on our premises. You are not dependent on us. We are dependent on you. You are not an interruption of our work. You are the purpose of it. You are doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to serve you.

We are fortunate to have you at our B and B and these reviews affirm that doing what we love, sharing Art House with you, increases happiness for all concerned. We always hope that you have a good time, relax in the beauty of our Inn and this area, and, no matter how long you stay, that you return home feeling you've experienced a sense of renewal, a great vacation and a splendid adventure.
Thank you from both of us, Rosalind and Michael

Probably one of the most impressive BnB in the Hamptons!
The owners are very friendly and have interesting stories to share.
They also gave us recommendations on things to do the area and we discovered amazing spots thanks to them!
The master bedroom is great. The house itself is gorgeous, you feel truly privileged to get to spend time there!
When leaving, you can’t stop thinking: “When are we coming back?!?”

My husband and I needed a weekend away to unwind, relax and take the stress off of our busy lives. Staying at The Art House is exactly what we got. Michael and Rosalind were welcoming, gracious and eager to make us feel right at home. They had alot of knowledge as to what we should do while staying with them. They recommended hikes, restaurants and different areas of the Hamptons that we had never experienced before. This B&B has a very warm and inviting feeling. We recommend it to anyone who needs some R&R.

My husband and I were looking for a special warm and cozy place for some down-time after our wedding this month. We are so glad we booked the Art House B&B.

Michael and Rosalind have really created a perfect home away from home. The accommodations were not only on par with any 5+ star property, but every detail is handled with sincere care.

On or off season, this is an experience to be had!

Room Tip: The Master Bedroom is a must!

My wife and I spent the last weekend in October at the East Hampton Art House and we couldn't have been more impressed. We're fortunate to have stayed at some of the top hotels in the world, such as the Ritz, Four Seasons, Trump International, Mandarin Oriental, etc., and the East Hampton Art House provided us with the most exceptional experience we've ever encountered at any hotel/resort/B&B. Now I realize that staying at a B&B is different than staying at a large hotel, but Michael and Rosalind have done an amazing job of providing very high-end features and amenities, while keeping the quaint, friendly and personal feel of a B&B. As other reviewers have said, they make you feel like family and I've never felt more comfortable away from my own home. They told us that they tried to think of everything and that's certainly the case as my wife and I couldn't think of anything they hadn't thought of. Not only were the house and room outstanding, but so was the breakfast that they provided, which included: eggs any way you'd like; home-made waffles; oatmeal; yogurt; fruit; a variety of cheeses; pastry; lox; fresh squeezed orange juice and more. In addition, coffee, tea, wine, a full bar, soft drinks, bottled water, snacks (fruit, nuts, cookies, pastries, chocolates, and other munchies) were available 24 hours a day. Our stay was off-season and the rates for that time of year provide an unbelievable value (having said that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay during the peak season as it would still be an exceptional value). I can't wait for our next visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Master Guest Room, which I would highly recommend.

We have recently stayed at the East Hampton Art House Bed and Breakfast and we felt really greatly welcomed and very comfortable-which doesn't necessarily happen often in many of the B&B we have stayed.

It doesn't feel like being in a Bed and Breakfast, but at your best friend's house. Michael and Rosalind make everything to let your stay be a comfortable one, no matter what you're asking and they do it in a very genuine and generous way, really like they're friends.

The house is fantastic, very well maintained and nicely decorated. Not too many rooms, which is to say that you feel very special, while the house is spacious enough to maintain your privacy.

We also truly enjoyed Michael and Rosalind artwork. This is "serious" artwork that makes your experience also interesting from a cultural and artistic standpoint.

Rosalind and Michael, the proprietors of Art House, make you feel, from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, as if you are welcome guests in their home. Whether you wish assistance with dinner reservations, or are looking for a nice way to spend the afternoon doing something new and unexpected, Michael and rosalind are happy to help or provide suggestions. The Art House itself is beautiful. My wife and I needed a few-days getaway from the city, and we found Art House - the perfect place to unwind. The house is decorated with Rosalind's and Mike's art, and is designed with an impeccable eye. It's in the Springs - the Hamptons, but yet, not. The surrounding area is very woodsy and secluded - perfect for walks before getting ready for dinner at any of the numerous restaurants just a short drive away.

Thank you to Rosalind and Mike for a great stay - we hope to return.

Room Tip: All of the rooms (there are only a few) are great.
