I was a bit worried when trying to book a hotel near LGA because most of the places in our price range didn't have great reviews. The LaGuardia Airport Hotel is definitely a decent option in the mid-$100 range.
The room (a king bed room in the "tower") was plenty big enough to accommodate us, our son's pack-n-play and 2 weeks worth of luggage. Bathroom was bigger than I expected and the only problem was that the toilet ran constantly. The room could definitely use a good cleaning - my socks were BLACK after walking around the room for a few hours. But the rest of the room and bathroom were not visibly dirty. One thing I didn't like was that the black-out curtains in the room didn't meet together...not a small hole - enough to accommodate the entire A/C unit! Our room faced the highway and airport, so it was really bright inside until I clipped the curtains together with a chip-bag clip. That worked for the one night we were there, but that could get annoying for a longer stay.
We decided not to eat in the hotel restaurant (a bit pricey and not many options), but after asking the front desk for pizza suggestions, we ordered from a place that delivered right to the hotel (Angelo's Pizzeria in Corona, NY). The pizza arrived to the hotel within 40 min of ordering and was under $15 for the entire order.
The hotel shuttle runs every 20 min, but was running a little late the morning we used it. No problems accommodating all the guests who needed to use it at 6am.
