I had the privlege of staying in this piece of design history over Thanksgiving. The public spaces makes you feel as if you stepped into the turn of the last century. The salon walls are three quarter panneled in finely grained oak with murals above showing famous sights and scenes of the world. I liked the Venetian scene above the front desk. The salon is properly filled with tiffany style lamps and mission furniture, many pieces carrying the Roycroft mark. The Morris chairs were particular comfortable. The massive veranda is a lovely place to take the air or pollute it with a good cigar. My immaculate guest room was huge and, also filled with mission furniture, though the lamps were mica shaded. It was very comfortable and the bed was superb. There were six windows covered with wooden blinds. The bathtub had a whirlpool function which I didn't use. The bathroom could have used a few hooks, though.

Service was more than excellent. When she saw how tall I was, the desk clek immediately upgraded me to a larger bedded room. The restaurant manager gave me a recommendation for a more pubby dinner location, but was also happy to get me a drink from the hotel's tiny bar. The morning desk clerk cheerfullly accomodated several demanding guest requests.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone, but especially people who appreciate interior design and mission furniture.

The room we had was clean and comfortable. There was a sitting area that was large enough to enjoy a drink with friends. The bed was very comfortable.The dinner we had at the inn was superb. The atmosphere at the inn was very inviting. A great get away spot for couples.

The Inn is rich with history, fully restored, full of period furniture, and operates as a living museum. We enjoyed the docent's impromptu tour featuring in-depth explanation of the Roycrofters, Elbert Hubbard, and his descendents. The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful modern period baths. Many seating areas throughout the facility, a cozy bar, great restaurants, and an expansive and comfortable veranda. The Roycroft campus is being restored with a grand master plan. Stay here, it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Great wedding venue. Everyone loved their stay and the entire experience. Hotel staff are all very helpful and very friendly. Excellent location, quiet yet accessible for walking around town. Great coffee in the lobby every morning. All the rooms were very large, but some rooms were rather dark, and the bed frames stick out in a way that you can't see them, so a lot of us had bruised knees from bumping into them all weekend (bride and groom included). Definitely pricey, but totally worth it for the special occasion! Only reason I didn't give them a perfect rating for cleanliness is because I found a men's belt on the floor in the corner when we checked in, so obviously housekeeping had not really done much in that area. However, it fit my husband perfectly and seemed to be brand new, so no big deal, free belt!
