“Great wines one of the best in the Finger Lakes Region of NY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

One of the best wineries in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Not only are the grounds beautiful and scenic, but their wines are recognized as some of the best examples of Riesling in the world.

The winery is housed in a beautiful converted barn. The tasting room is conveniently located inside the winery and includes an area for outdoor tasting when the weather permits. Simply gorgeous. The staff is very knowledgeable, and courteous. It is an interesting experiment to taste Riesling grown in different areas of the region. There is a definite difference. Definitely a great experience. Highly recommended.

“Love the wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This is a great place to visit. The wine is good and the scenic drive is beautiful.
They have special events and website to keep you up to date. You can also order wine and have it delivered to your home if you flew to NY. Some months they have special shipping cost.

“One of the best tasting experiences in the Finger lakes... Also Great Wines...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

The time that the team member took with us in our comparative tasting was excellent. Instead of just lining the wines up she made a recommendation that we followed. We then comparatively tasted Rieslings to distinguish the differences. It was a great experience.

Favorite winery of our trip - great wines especially the Magdelana Vineyard dry riesling 2011. Knowledgeable and personable staff - a great stop if you're into wines.

“Loved loved loved the pairings!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

This vineyard was our last stop on what had already been a fabulous day on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. The tables where one could enjoy either a meat and cheese pairing or a dessert pairing were set up outside the main tasting rooms, overlooking the lawns and fall trees. It was gorgeous and relaxed setting. Some of the wineries on the trail offer food parings, but you must stand at the tasting bar while you taste and pair. This is not the case here, and it makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I got the meat and cheese pairing, and my friend got the dessert pairing, and we shared them. Chef Michael Murphy was very involved with the tastings, introducing all of the items on the platters, making wine pairing suggestions, and answering any questions we might have. Both he and Stephanie, who was pouring and describing our wines, were wonderful. I was impressed by the cheese and meat choices, but some of the desserts knocked my socks off. The combination of the Late Harvest Riesling and white chocolate mousse with orange and rosewater essence was such a sensuous bomb in my mouth that I actually groaned out loud in pleasure and grabbed the back of my chair to keep from sliding off it. The experience was a pure delight.
