“TERRIBLE TASTING”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Do yourself a Favor. Spend your money at the many other Wineries on the lakes. I recommend Bully Hill. Glenora's tasting was impersonal, and uninformative. You pay then you go to the Bar and get less than a mouthful of Wine to taste. And then you may or may not get offered cheese that makes you wonder how they cut it so small? I will never buy Glenora nor will I waste my time or money to go there.

“Wine tasting, cafeteria-style”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Large, impersonal winery that provides a tasting experience akin to a cattle call or going to a cafeteria. Get in one line to pay when you arrive, get herded to a table, then if you want to buy something get herded to another line. The tasting lacks any charm or local flavor. Much better options are available in the surrounding wineries.

“Great wine tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We stopped by Glenora to do their wine tour. Highly recommended, a knowledgable younger woman gave us the tour which last about an hour. We even tasted wine out of the barrel and saw grapes just picked ready for processing. We had lunch on their deck outside, great food and great view. Wine tasting was fun, a younger guy let us taste quite a few wines and even paired them with their cheese. We bought wine and cheese to bring home and enjoy.

“Beautiful view from the deck”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Relaxing, beautiful view from the deck of the restaurant. I personally did do not rank their wines as my favorite, but they are okay and the chef and wait staff presented a very nice meal.

“Our First Wine Tasting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

My husband and I went to Glenora to scope it out before a wedding we were to attend there the next day. We'd never had a wine tasting before so it was a fun experience. The tasting was $2 per person so we each got 5 different wines each and shared. We ended up buying the same champagne that was served at the wedding the next day. It had a delightful taste. We took it back to our B&B, sat on the porch and drank it along with some cheese and crackers we picked up at Glenora as well. It made a small but tasty dinner.

The wedding the next day was beautiful. The cheese hors d'oeuvres were outstanding - especially the little goat cheese balls (to die for)! The buffet, though small, had a nice selection and the food was quite tasty.

The views at Glenora are outstanding and made for a neat destination wedding. I'm very glad we had the opportunity to experience it!
