We stayed here for a couple of days last month. The place defiantly needs a facelift, I’d say it’s a step up from camping. We still had a warm bed and shower and a small kitchenette. Of course since we drove there from MA we took everything, Sheets pillow cases Towels etc., You don’t have to bring them since they do provide them, However I like to have my own. Also a cooler full of food down to the salt and pepper, if you are planning to cook dinner and breakfast.
Other than that I could say we had a really great time, If you book a cabin make sure to ask for one with a fire pit. It’s nice to sit by the fire and watch the stars at night. (and that’s the way to enjoy the Adirondacks)
It’s on the Trout Lake away from the Honky-tonk Lake George area, There are also kayaks and canoes which you can use at no charge.
Would I stay here again? I’d say yes, I would since I don’t mind ruffing it out sometimes. It was quite a pleasant stay.
