We use this 'table service' farm shop cafe as a morning treat when staying with family in Midhurst. The cafe is located on the edge of Easebourne leaving Midhurst on the A272 Petworth road and is part of the Cowdray Estate, see http://www.cowdrayfarmshop.co.uk/priorycafe.php
Look out for Easebourne church on your right and the cafe is positioned behind the church. Parking is available within the cafe / shop courtyard and an overflow car park is adjacent to the cafe.
This is an extremely popular venue so it is very advisable to reserve a table in advance although we visited on the off chance of finding a table and were lucky to do so. Reserved tables are for specific times which are noted on the table reservation. If you arrive at 10am say and a table is reserved for 11.30 am it is possible to take the table as long as it is vacated by the reserved time.
The food is first quality farm produce and the breakfast prices are not unreasonable ( lunches are also available but untried by us). We chose a full English, scrambled eggs on toast and a pain au chocolat for a four year old , accompanied by cappuccinos and a baby chino.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable and a great place to take family and friends. We love it and love wandering around the adjacent farm shop for something special.
