We just spent an enchanting weekend at the Blue Iris. It is everything you would want in a B & B . Unfortunately the owners were not there but they provided everything for us. Two gift certificates for breakfast at nearby places, and a wonderful friendly hostess. We do intend to go back for the whole experience.

From the moment you arrive at the entrance of the Blue Iris B&B you are captivated by its charm and grace. The gardens are equal to any well maintained, landscaped park or public garden. Lorrie and Jerry are warm and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fit for a king! Surpassed all our expectations. We plan to come back every season!

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Iris this weekend. The restored farm house is beautiful -from the wrap around porch to the magnificent entry way to the beautiful dining area, living room and guest room(s)! The gardens were also incredible as was the chicken coop! We stayed in the Hollyhock Room and it was gorgeous, roomy and like all rooms, had its own bath. The breakfasts were also incredible and were something out of cooking magazine! Lastly, the hosts Lorry and Gerry - they were terrifc too and you didn't feel like you were in someone else's home!

In a few words ... we will be back!!

We were so impressed by the Blue Iris. The gardens were amazing, the food was out of this world, the service was perfect, and the fire pit is the secret weapon that sets this above the competition. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Just got back from a wonderful weekend in wine country with my husband and some of our friends. We stayed at the Blue Iris and had the most amazing service. The grounds are perfect, with a hammock, beautiful lawn and flowers, giant porch and a fire pit. We've stayed at other B&Bs in the area and this one is by far our favorite.

The house is in perfect condition and very clean. Our rooms were huge and comfortable— we loved that while we were out they tidied up our rooms.

Breakfast was so delicious each morning and huge portions! The presentation of the food was also so nice and always had a nice touch of herbs like lavender or mint to make it extra special. The inn keepers went above and beyond to make our weekend perfect.

The location is excellent—just a short bike ride from tons of wineries, the beach and down town Cutchogue. The house is on a nice quiet street.

We can't wait to go back!

We just got back from an incredible stay at this Bed & Breakfast. Lorry, the Innkeeper, was fabulous! She offered to make dinner reservations for us and had some wonderful suggestions on wineries to stop at. A bottle of wine was in our room waiting for us. The room was immaculate! The themed bedrooms were decorated with style and expertise! The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The gardens on the property were inviting and beautiful. I wish we stayed longer so we could have enjoyed the firepit. Breakfast was delicious! Lorry used fresh herbs from her garden and her husband's french toast was incredible. Everything was perfect, right down to the music at breakfast. The location couldn't have been better. There are several wineries within walking distance to the Inn. I am so glad we had a chance to experience this wonderful Inn. We will definitely make it a point to go back yearly.

I just returned from a trip to the long island wine country and stayed at the Blue Iris bed and breakfast. I found this place by accident and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The inn itself is lovely- a reproduction of a country farm house with all the modern amenities.

The innkeepers were so thoughtful. There were so many delightful touches to make your weekend very special. They helped with suggestions and all reservations. When we checked in they had left a hand painted wine bottle in our room and a card with our itinerary on it. They even left the ingredients for s'mores that we could enjoy in the evening at thier fire pit.

I would highly recommend the use of thier massuese - they have a spa room located right next to the guest rooms so you can enjoy a wonderful massage without leaving the premises.

Breakfast each morning was a feast. 3 delicious courses that fortified us well for our wine tastings.

This was truly a lovely experience and I can't wait to return to my country retreat.
