Many things went wrong tonight. My family went out for my sister's birthday. They seated us promptly. That's the last thing that went right. There was a live band decently murdering every musical genre you can think of from Broadway hits to Alternative Rock. Mercifully, no rapping, but they had their speakers turned up to 11. We couldn't hear each other. why no Mariachi? We waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food. We looked around the restaurant and no one was eating. The restaurant was 1/3 full. We complained to the manager after several attempts to make our very nice waitress understand us (language barrier and loud music). He was useless. Our food when it finally came was of varying quality. My sister (the birthday girl) could not eat hers and sent it back twice before giving up. My steak fajita was like slightly rehydrated beef jerky. The only truly happy person at the table was my son who ordered a cheeseburger. According to him, it was perfect. The rest was just miserable. My family was furious and there was no positive response or any real explanation from the staff. We all drove quite a way to get there because we don't live near each other so we met up at the restaurant. Otherwise we would have just left. It's hard to know what to do in a situation. And it's not like the place is reasonably priced, either.
