“Extensive menu, great food for post skiing feast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Stopped here after skiing at Greek Peak, twice. Two vegetarians, two not. Great lunch bento boxes; dinner had excellent tofu curry. Good rolls. Gyoza fresh. Will eat here again!

“Excellent Food and a Lot of Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

We enjoyed a delicious meal on a Friday night. The Hibachi station was a lot of fun. Our waitress spoke excellent English, and was very attentive. The chef did a very nice performance. We enjoyed a bottle of wine (full bar available). We started with an appetizer of calamari. Shrimp and Salmon were our dinner entrees, which were served with onion soup, salad , vegetables, and fried rice. For dessert we had cheesecake and tempura icecream. It was enjoyable talking with the ladies at the Hibachi table with us. In this restaurant you can either choose the Sushi Bar, the Hibachi Tables (there are several) or just sitting at a regular individual table. The place is quite large-and an impressive addition to the many great dining experiences that we have in Cortland. We were seated right away even though we were about 10 minutes early for a 7:00 reservation. Highly recommend this restaurant, and will be glad to answer any questions about Wild Ginger. Very reasonable cost. Appetizer, 2 entrees, bottle of wine, and dessert for 2 -$81. before tip.

“Very Nice and diverse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Thai, Japanese or Chinese are the offerings with a touch of class. A sushi bar along w/ a hibachi station and regular booths were our choices. We were allowed to have separate checks and drinks were served quickly. We ordered four different meals and the soup/salad course arrive w/in 10 minutes of ordering. Our 4 different meals arrived another 15 minutes later and they all were a success. The service was efficient and careful. Our check arrived w/out the waitress asking if we would like dessert and/or coffee. I have a feeling they lost some money there.
I had japanese this time and will return soon to try the Thai. The restaurant is a plus for Cortland and I hope people will turn out to enjoy what I did this evening. Lovely decor.

“Sushi anyone”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

Went to Cortland and had a group looking for dinner on a Saturday night. The first restaurant was unwelcoming when they saw 12 people, the second too busy but wild ginger took us in happily. The salmon sushi was excellent, the hibachi enjoyable. The only downside was that it was very chilly in there to the point that they had space heaters set up. Even the wait staff stood in front of them between duties.
