Since there is no truly excellent food in Cooperstown, I gave the Diner a 5 because this is about as good as it gets. Ate there four times during our son's trip to Dreams Park last week, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are the most reasonable in town, the service and staff the most friendly, and at least 30 of our group went back again on return trips. Biggest hits: 1 lb. Jumbo burger, Reuben sandwich, chef salad, pot roast, fried chicken and fish (or whatever the special is that night). Nothing fancy, just good home-style cooking.

Not much to choose from in Cooperstown Main Street area but this place was a good burger and fries type of place. Very small but you can get the food to go and sit outside. Service was very friendly and it was clean. The best restaurant is outside of town, on the way to the Dreamspark, behind McDonald's and is called BEANS. The best coffee, salads, sandwiches in town! Also everything there is freshly made and organic...worth the five minute drive to get there.

Good diner type food - service was friendly. This place is tiny and get get very busy. I was there in the offseason and every table/counter seat was full. I had a cheese and pepper omlette with cornbread for breakfast. It was so good I had the same thing the next morning.

Looking for breakfast one morning during HOF Weekend, wondered what all these people were doing standing outside this little hole in the wall restaurant. I wainted and finally got served. I look forward to waiting in that line next year. Great atmosphere, good breakfast and nice price. Enough to make me come back again. Let me know if you are thinking of selling
