Everytime we spend holidays in SBMA, we always stay here at Traveller's Inn. We have availed their membership last year and since then, its been a great place to stay...First, all their employees are #1 when it comes to hospitality. They will always greet you EVERYTIME and you will feel their effort of willingness to help/assist whenever you need. Next is the cleanliness, from the lobby up to your room. Next is their hotel rate. We find it cheap compare to other hotels within its vicinity especially for members. I suggest you try their Executive Suite (if you're going there with your family). You will have no problem with their bed/t&b/pillows/comforter, expect a 4star hotel quality like. Also, the location is perfect as it is situated near most of the shops, restaurants, casinos, beach.

Now let me talk about the unfavorable side of this hotel:

First, locals said there are ghosts in this hotel. Though I don't believe in ghost and non of us had an experience encountering one here, so I guess that shouldn't be considered as negative.

Second, I find the swimming pool and fitness gym too small. The pool has just a right amount of space for the kids and their fitness gym only has couple of machines. I would also suggest to the management to add up some hotel features like sauna bath and/or jaccuzzi for more comfy experience for adults.

Third is about their Internet service. Though its fast, i find it hard to connect and the last time we stayed there, I had to call them several times to reset their modem as we couldn't connect, and throughout my stay there the connection was disrupted.

Lastly, the breakfast buffet. They don't have an appropriate space for their guests and a limited choices of food.

To sum it up, I would still rate this hotel with "Excellent" and will definitely go back here and recommend this too. In fact, we already have a reservation on holy week...so see you guys there. ;)

After cancelling my stay with another lousy hotel last 23rd of December, this hotel saved my weekend. It has a roomy and spacious room. Clean sheets and fresh towels. Though the shower area is a bit small. Needs improvement on the kind of breakfast served. Personnel are quite accomodating. Area is accessible to other restaurants and a walk away to the duty free shop and other establishments. Convenient parking space but needs improvement on the perimeter lights. Quiet and peaceful though surrounded by business establishments. I would say: "save by the hotel, coming from a hotel which smells like a funeral parlor!

If you are looking for a value for money hotel in Subic Bay, then Traveler's Hotel is the hotel for you. I stayed in this Hotel from November 30-Dec. 2, 2011. These were the strong points of the hotel:
1) Room rate was reasonable
2) Rooms were big, with clean sheets and towels, flat TV, refrigerator, safety deposit box, complimentary bottled water and coffee, etc
3) Bathroom/toilet was well-lit, complete with toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, comb, sewing kit, hair dryer
4) Right across the hotel were a duty-free shop, burger joint, restaurants, Havianas store.
These were the areas for improvement:
1) Bedroom was not well-lit. It only had light by the door, lamp on the study table, and another lamp on the night table. These were not enough to light the entire bedroom.
2) You would hear the noise along the corridor. You would hear the voices of people talking along the corridor.
3) Beds were too soft.
4) They should add more staff in housekeeping so that rooms will be made-up by noon. Mine was cleaned only after lunch.

Considering this is just a 3-year old hotel, the room looks tired and old.

Upon entering, it is dimmer than most hotel rooms we’ve been in. It doesn’t help that it only has a window at the corner. From the looks of it, they could have made the windows bigger. And add to that, not all of their lamps are working.

We’ve stayed with their sister hotel, Subic Venezia, before. We were actually reminded of it when we stayed here at Subic Travelers Hotel. Not because the room layout is very similar, but because it seems that they just transferred some of their old furniture in this newer hotel.

Regarding room amenities, it’s furnished than most. But then, we noticed the following :

i. They have a coffee maker, but they don’t have filters for it. Thus if you put coffee grind in it, it gets stuck in the drip. Why not replace it with electric kettles if it’s only for boiling water for the instant coffee you provide?
ii. They have ice bucket, but they don’t have an ice vending machine inside their premises.
iii. They don’t give you a remote controller for your aircon. Should you want to have the temperature changed, you need to call the front desk.
iv. The exhaust inside the toilet gives out an irritating buzzing noise.
v. Lastly, the shower heater doesn’t really get hot.

Overall, staying at Subic Bay Travelers hotel is not a bad experience. I just had high expectations for them knowing this is supposed to be new. And if they do something about our ‘observations’, we will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 days due to work.

Pro:
1. TV channels was good. Got all the movie channel from hbo, star and max
2. Breakfast was good.
3. Room was spacious for double bed.
4. Staff was courteous, polite, cheerful and very helpful. Usually get this kind of treatment at 5-star hotel in my country.
5. Room service was good. Cleaned the room properly.
6. Near Meatplus restaurant, Atm and Freeport market. Souvenirs here was very expensive. Better buy them at stall 1&2, JLGA market and mall (pag-asa), olongapo city, 2200 philipines.
7. Taxi service was available. To get better deals on taxi, catch in front of meat plus restaurant.




Cons:
1. Price was expensive, 4000 peso/nite for 3 star hotel. For that price, I was expecting a 4-star hotel like novotel standards.
2. Free wifi only worked the 1st day. After that, could not worked. Complained but still did not work.
3. Air-conditioner did not have remote control. Got to call the desk to turn it off.
4. Hot water not functioning 100%. Somewhere like 20 %.
5. Found small insects on the bed when sleeping. I suspect bed bugs. 2nd nite was better. I think they changed the sheets and it was gone.
6. Room lighting very dark. Window facing dark side of hotel. So during the day, feel like it is at night.
7. Hotel had to call taxi and the rate could not be bargain much. No taxi waiting in front of hotel.


Overall, I recommend this hotel.

the room are big and spacious that can accomodate 4 to 6 person (de luxe room), the pool is nice even thought it's not big... the staff are friendly and accomodating...

While the ambiance is nice and the beds are inviting, inefficient service disappointed us. There are several things the management should take into consideration for their improvement...
1-Before they allow the guests for check-in, housekeeping should make sure that the rooms to be occupied that all appliances/amenities are in good working order.
(when we stayed, the shower was so lacking in water pressure and there was no hot water!!! after maintenance came to the rescue, we were told that the switches were not on and that water pressure was adjusted affecting the water temp.)

2-Un-complimentary breakfast. The Kitchen was being blamed by the front desk for messing up our orders which was given the NIGHT before as instructed in the order slip given to us upon check-in. We requested for 7.30 AM breakfast delivery... They called us at 8.30AM to tell us that one of our orders is already out of stock!!! We didn't get to eat breakfast because of an early itinerary, we left at about 9AM.. just as our breakfast was going to be delivered! (TIP-ask for wake up call, then order breakfast asap!)

3-Front desk officers should learn a better way to serve their guests/patrons without necessarily saying NO or IT CAN'T BE DONE. If what is being asked is not feasible, please give an alternative which can solve the guest's predicament or requests. Because my roommate was wary of drinking boiled water from the tap, we asked for hot water for breakfast, front desk insisted us that we should just boil the water from the bathroom with the kettle in our room. In the end, we asked if we can just order for mineral water and include it to our account. But this wasn't even delivered for our breakfast.

The only plus points during our stay was that the bed was comfortable, there was a nice flatscreen and the room was clean.
