In my opinion, the positive-reviewers of this "mexican" restaurant have never had actual Mexican food. The food I had was clearly "scooped and served".
I ordered a beef enchilada and a cheese enchilada. The tortillas were not cooked. The "cheese" tasted suspiciously similar to processed American cheese.
I knew I was in for a poor experience right when I walked in the door. There was no one at the hostess station, so I walked back to the bar area and asked if I should just seat myself. They said yes. After 10 minutes of waiting, I had to find a waitress and ask for a menu. (and, no, it was not busy that night)
The salsa and chips were good, but that is where the "good" ended.
After I at my seemingly "microwave mexican" meal, the waiter asked, "So, how was your meal? Was it good?" I shook my head, and said, "No, it wasn't good." I did not say that to get a discount or an apology (of which I got neither anyways), but simply because it was the truth. I left a full tip because it wasn't the waiters fault for the poor food.
