We recently spent two nights at the Blue Boar on a KGB deal and were very impressed.
There was a warm pleasant welcome on arrival and the staff were superb throughout our stay.
We had lunch from the bar menu shortly after arrival and the sandwiches were large and filling.
Our room was spotless and provided adequately for our stay.
We had our evening meal at the premises on the second night and the choice and quality of the food on the menu could not be faulted. The portions were large and very enjoyable and the head waiter, Dennis, was extremely efficient and very professional in the way he treated customers enhancing the whole experience.
Breakfast on both mornings was excellent both in quality and the size of the portions!!
All in all we could not fault anything during our stay and would thoroughly recommend the premises, whether it be for accommodation or just for dining.
