“Good package deals at this hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

The Millennium is within walking distance of the popular Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. This hotel offers a variety of interesting packages and our favourite is the 100 for 150. You pay $150 a night and get $100 to spend in the hotel's restaurant and bar. Airport shuttle available.

i stayed here fri and last night for my sisters wedding and it was the worst hotel experience, ever... dirty sheets and chairs, AC was on and off working, half the room didnt have electricity, phones in the room didnt work and horrible guest service... to say that the employees were helpful and courteous would be a lie...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Millennium, our room, the restaurants and espcially our banquet in the glass domed luxury garden in the center of the building. The Bedroom suite was spacious, beds so comfortable, and we had a balcony overlooking the garden. The food delicious in the hotel restaurants for breakfast and also,the lounge, Twigs, where we had "Beef on Weck" a buffalo tradition served with a refreshing beer. The staff treated the retired Navy Veterans with special care and our needs were more than met. Thank you for all the kindnesses.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the balcony on the second floor to relax and read, have coffee in the morning,

I talked my sister into booking a room through Hotwire, which she did, and this was the hotel she received a booking with. Having read a few negative comments about the Millenium, I was apprehensive when I heard the news, however, she tells me that the hotel was nice, and other than the fact that she found the pillows & bedspreads sorely in need of replacment, she had a pleasant stay there and would return.

I went there last month with my family coming from Canada .based on its good rate we didn't hesitate.and overall it was a good experience .the hotel was very near to a big shopping mall and a lot of nice restaurants.the room was average but it lack amini fridge and the carpets were dirty which was really gross I think they should really think of changing the room carpets or at least deep clean it.

PROS:
* Right next to the Walden Galleria, largest shopping mall in western NY state.
* very close to restaurants in the mall. Longhorn Steak House across street. Olive Garden very close.
* although an older property, the flat panel Samsung TVs and room decor are modern.
* TVs carried a couple of Canadian TV channels - not always the case in Buffalo.
* large rooms
* above average comfortable beds
* room service and on site bar
* free parking
* my package booked thru Expedia included a hit breakfast
* free in room WiFi reasonably fast
* ideal for Canadian cross border shoppers: Walden Galleria mall just a few steps away

CONS
* no fridge or microwave in my room
* room had a slightly moldy, antiseptic spray aroma
* minor cost to print off pages from the PCs in lobby
* bathroom vanity modern but tub and tiles a bit tired in my premier King room

CONCLUSION
Worth considering if you can get a superior King room, including full breakfast, for about $110 from an on-line website. Especially if you don't want to drive to bar/restaurants.
It's just a few miles from Buffalo Niagara International Airport, but if free airport parking and a more modem hotel are your thing, I'd consider more modern hotels across from the airport on Genessee Ave.

Thanks to the reviews here, I was not surprised when I walked into the hotel( June 9th). Booked through priceline under 3 star rating (uummm). As many others have stated, the location of the hotel is close to the airport. We stayed for one night prior to catching our flight and following our trip to Niagara Falls. Rooms are very dated, but clean. Several outlets in our room did not work. Staff was nice and courteous. The price was right for us and it was only one night.......so it was doable for one night.
