“Nice Hotel - Very pleased”

This hotel is directly across from the Buffalo Airport and has shuttle service to and from the airport. Check-in is stated as 4pm (which I think is late compared to most other hotels we stay at) and checkout is 11am.

I called the day prior to our scheduled arrival to ask if early checkin was available. I was told that they could not guarantee it but would make a note. It was all dependent on the cleaning staff that day. We took a chance and arrived at 2pm to inquire if our room was ready. I was greeted promptly and courteously and was welcomed as a hilton rewards member. Early check-in was smooth and quick and we were in our Jr. Suite within just a few minutes.

The room was IMMACULATE and faced the back of the property. Not much of a view but also quiet and relaxing. We didn't hear a single plane the entire time we were at this hotel. When you enter the suite you come into the "living room" and not faced with the bathroom. The bathroom is actually in the middle - separating the bedroom from the living room. When we arrived the room was set for the AC and at 59 degrees - alittle chilly for Buffalo in February! We did notice that when the AC kicked on it was alittle loud in the bedroom area.

The workout facilities are open 24hrs a day and were clean, modern and a perfect temp for a workout. Towels and earphones provided. Wipes to clean off the equipment are also provided.

The pool is a unique "I" shape and ranges from 3 feet to 5 feet. The area is large, clean and warm. It is surrounded on 1 end by large windows so on a sunny day its a great atmosphere. Lots of chairs, tables and lounge chairs to relax in. Drinking fountain, mens and womens restrooms and an open area shower are all located within the pool area. The pool was cold for our tastes and therefore limited the amount of time we spent. The hot tub however was a perfect temp. The railing to get into the hot tub area was alittle loose or wiggly and does need to be addressed.

The lobby features a fire place, sofas, tv and tables surrounded by windows letting in a lot of natural light. The lobby had fresh cookies and has a keurig coffee maker for guests.

The only drawback of this hotel is the restaurant/bar is located IN the lobby and not seperated by any walls. Becuase of this if you are enjoying the food or drinks you are "on display" for everyone that is coming or going through the main entrance.

WOW what a wonderful weekend we had thanks to this property! Checkin was a seamless process thanks for a very prepared staff. My requests for room placement were pre-granted and we were even upgraded (LOVE being a Hilton Gold member)! The "hallway" light in the room was out and within 30 minutes the lightbulb was changed, extremely fast service! Breakfast was excellent and filling. The gym was large and had everything you'd need for a home away from home workout and while I didnt utilize it, the pool looked VERY inviting. Our maid (Mary) was INCREDIBLY friendly and attentive; she noticed the first night that we only used 2 out of the 5 pillows and so when making the bed the next morning she stowed those pillows away so we wouldnt have to deal with this - it's this type of attention to detail we appreciate! The iron had a couple of scorch marks and my husband was concerned it would leave marks on his pants - we called the front desk and within 5 minutes (NO KIDDING) we had a freshly cleaned iron at our door! The front desk staff was smiling and helpful the entire stay. We will 100% stay at this location again in the future and you should too!

A number of my family members and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn while spending Christmas in Buffalo New York with our extended family. We all found the staff at this hotel to be extremely friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were clean and very, very comfortable. The friendliness and helpfulness extended from the desk staff to the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff. We all felt like valued customers whose needs were paramount. We will definitely be staying here again and would have no hesitation inrecommending the Hilton Garden Inn to othert travellers looking for excellent accommodation and service at very reasonable rates.

We have stayed at the Buffalo Airport HGI four times. We used the park and fly room rate to leave our car for for about a week. In three instances, we were upgraded to a very comfortable mini-suite. About the only aspect that will differentiate one HGI from another is the service provided by the staff. The service provided by all staff was simply exemplary!

For example, when I was checking in at the airport I remembered an article left in the room. I called the front desk and asked that it be sent on the next shuttle. The clerk replied 'that's nonsense, I will sent it right over!' and she did. The desk clerks were courteous and professional. The shuttle drivers not only handled the luggage on and off the shuttle but at the airport found a luggage cart, and at the hotel took the luggage to our room! While the food in the restaurant is very average, the wait staff were friendly, yet very professional.

Perhaps, a good indication was the dozen or so cleverly decorated gingerbread houses on display in the entry way. It seems the staff participate in a contest sponsored by the management. The excellence of their efforts to make the gingerbread cakes mirrored the excellence of their commitment to high quality service.

The physical aspects of the hotel (pool, exercise room, business center, rooms and public areas) were on par with other HGIs.

We stayed one night on December 22nd on route to flying to Vegas.
The hotel is right across the street from the airport and the rooms are very nice.
They offer a special parking rate if you book directly with them instead of paying the airport parking fees.
We would definately stay there again when flying out early in the morning.

We chose the HGI Buffalo Airport for a one night park and fly stay before our flight the next morning. The hotel is has an onsite restaurant which came in handy since it was Christmas Eve and not much else was open.
The rooms are typical HGI rooms and this hotel is in good repair. We would stay at this hotel again since it is directly across the street from the airport. Not to worry though, you can't hear any noise from the airport.
