This hotel is probably the best of the lot in Buffalo. The beds were comfortable, it was quiet and very clean, the water was hot (no tub though), the food at the snack bar downstairs was reasonable and good and there was a coffee maker in your room. It is close to the highways. They have computers with free internet. The air conditioning was perfect. It is still a bit expensive for what you are getting but that's par for the course in today's market.
The only problem (and it seems that this is true of all hotels nowadays) is that the front desk people are not really knowledgeable with directions. I'm not sure if the people they hire really don't get enough instruction from the hotel itself or the colleges don't provide enough information on how to be helpful when they take courses in hotel management or they really just don't care. They do have maps on the walls but most of our questions had to be answered by "humans" and it was amazing how little knowledge they had of Buffalo proper. Example, we asked the front desk where the nearest gas station was and he sent us about a half a mile down the street. When we came out of the hotel, we saw one on the corner. Doesn't make sense. Ask a girl where a popular store was in East Aurora and she had not heard of it and didn't know that area well. I checked on the net later and found it right away (although she did try herself), Seems strange especially being around the airport. They were all very courteous though.
