“Reasonable, Homey and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

We have been having a friends reunion here for the last 6 years and both Ellen and Mike have made us always feel like a part of the family. The food is good and plenty of it!!! The cocktail lounge is roomy and comfotable. The ONLY PLACE LEFT IN NEW YORK where the bartender will actually buy you a drink. (or 2 or 3). Plenty to do here for adults and kids alike: A huge in grouynd swimming pool, Basketball, Handball, Miniature Golf, Fishing, Tennis,Bocci Ball, Horse shoes, HUGE kids playground and a Golf Range on over 300 acres of beautifully maintained land. What we liked especially was that the kids can play within easy eye sight of the adults. We actually enjoy doing Lunch on our own, BBQ'ing at our room or going out to see the beautful sights that the Catskill region has to offer. If your looking for upscale stay in Manhattan. If your looking for a Reasonable, clean and relxing few days or a week...This is definitely the place to be!

Room Tip: If you're having a large gatheringask for the Fairview Building which sits on a hill overlooking...

Great place to stay, we go there every year to relax and have fun! Ellen and Mike are the best hosts you want. I know both of them for over 20 years and what a joy it has been! If you want a place to stay with beautiful kept grounds to walk around on and to enjoy the scenery that is it!

I go up here about 3 times a year. The food home cooked, the staff is wonderful, and the owners always make sure there is a activity each night. SO close to shopping, go carts, a little town and a drive in movies. LOVE the murder Mystery weekends!!

Room Tip: I love staying in the fairview.

If you're looking for upscale this is not the place for you. But if you just want a little rest and relaxation with fun and friendly people then book your room now.

My family has been going to Wolff's every Memorial Day weekend for the last 5 years and we absolutely love it. There's nothing at all fancy about it. The rooms are very basic but they're clean and you get what you need. The meals also nothing fancy but good and plenty enough to eat for breakfast and dinner which are included as part of the package. For those who want lunch there is a snack bar open at lunch time where that has free salad and you can buy a hot dog, a hamburger or a grilled cheese sandwich all at very reasonable prices.

For families with young children the place is fabulous. There's a playground, a pool, shuffle board, table tennis, 2 ponds with fishing and boating, mini golf, a game room. In other words enough to keep the kids busy all weekend. They just go from one thing to the next and never get bored. Parents can relax because no matter where you are you have a view of the entire resort so the kids are always in sight no matter what activity they are involved in.

We have been going to Wolff's for many years. After missing a few years we returned with kids and had a great time. If you are looking for Trump Tower amenities this may not be your thing. But if you like a more casual atmosphere where you don't have to run to a scheduled dining hall 3 times a day, we found the two meal plan adequate (considering you got as much as you wanted) and the snack bar had a limited but free salad bar at lunch. The kids absolutely had a ball hanging out at the large pool, free mini golf, a couple ponds with boating, tennis, volley ball and a generous play area for the kids.....lets just say we all slept well at night. Nightly entertainment is good for adults and kids alike with bingo, horse racing and a bands, one of the several charming waitresses offered to baby sit the kids so we had an adult night out as well. The owners are accommodating and the other people that have been going there seem to enjoy the laid back atmosphere. If you are into hiking this place sits on a couple hundred acres of wooded land and trails....just bring some bug spray.

Especially good for large groups, plenty of room.
Breakfast and Dinner included.
Entertainment every night in the club/bar area. (kid friendly)
This year they have added a Zumba class.
Playground recently upgraded, in ground pool, a small lake with row boats, and a gravel road that winds around the property (about 1/2 mile) which is good for walks or jogging.
