The building exterior is lovely. The two story lobby is light-filled with the breakfast room upstairs.
I liked that the window opened and was quiet outside. The simple room is what you would expect with a Comfort Inn, and the bed was comfortable. However, we were close to the breakfast room, where a group gathered in the evening. I could not get over that they yelled to one another down the hallway rather late in the evening. Maybe the hotel could post a sign that reads, "Please be considerate of sleeping quests, and keep your voices low."

Room Tip: Book away from breakfast room

Stayed here with my family in July. Was not expecting the pleasant atmosphere that welcomed us. We had a room with two beds and a little sitting area. Our beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast was decent. My only complaint was that there was too much chlorine in the pool. My children's eyes were burning for a couple hours after swimming. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

My wife and I were here for one night on our way to New England. Easy on/off the highway. Newer hotel, everything up to date. Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. For reasons unknown to me we were upgraded to a massive suite, so our experience wasn't typical, but nonetheless would stay here again in a regular room.

Having stayed in a number of motels in the greater Albany, NY area I have finally found one that is in a decent area, clean and with a friendly staff. It is a little difficlt to determine the entrance into the area because of other business but once you figure that out it is a go. The only downside is the lack of eating places nearby, but if you don.t mind a little drive there are some good local places to have a meal.

Room Tip: rooms on the second floor are near the breackfast area since it is up some stairs from the lobby tha...

On our way home from Maine, we found this place in the hotel book found at the service plaza's.

Due to the storms in the Albany area, we picked up the last coupon room.

It was a very nice place. Staff was friendly, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was hit. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way to Cape Cod. It's convenient right off the Interstate, so easy to get right off again in the morning. Comfortable, quiet room, well appointed, suited us fine. Not a great choice of nearby restaurants, but the ones available at least do the job.

It had been a while since I had stayed in a Comfort Inn. But I've done that enough times to know what to expect. Or, at least I thought I did. With an excellent location right off I-90, this is a newish, very impressive property with a tastefully decorated lobby and amenities of hotels in higher categories. I liken this to a more upscale Hampton Inn; I would typically rank Comfort Inns a notch below that.
Our spotless, large room had two queen beds, an HDTV that had an HD signal (don't take that for granted on the road) and an excellent WiFi connection. There were ample towels for the four of us (again, don't take that for granted) already in the room. Shower pressure could've been a little better, but it got the job done.
There was a hot breakfast on the mezzanine, which was not overrun when we were there around 8 a.m. In addition to the waffle machine, there were egg disks (for lack of a better term) and sausage patties to go with the usual cold assortment. Oatmeal is available, but only if you empty a packet and pour in some hot water (hint).
Overall, if you don't need to be smack dab in the middle of Albany and Troy and want a good value as well as a pleasant surprise (not to mention a Mobil and Dunkin Donuts) next store, you'll be glad you stopped.
