“Good option”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

We ate and drank at the bar. Drinks were cold, but expensive. Food options decent. We ordered the hot pretzel. Delish! The Caesar salad was not good it tasted like Mayonnaise. Good place to watch a game. Big HD TV's right at the bar.

“Authentic, recently restored beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Monaghan's has a large covered outdoor deck, a bar and a comfortable dining room rich with stained glass, old fashioned light fixtures and rich wood finishes. It's is part of the fabulously quaint and quirky Roxy Hotel...hey serve good cold Guinness - have a Happy Hour from 4-6PM and serve delicious food.

“Slow and overpriced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

The decor is right, the monogram/logo is cool but the service was S-L-O-W. Even that would be OK if the the sandwiches were exceptional (which they were not). $10 for an average sandwich that took over 25 minutes. (Drinks took 10). And, no, they were not busy

The food is good and the renovations are very nice but there is little Irish Pub food.

“It Just Got Better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2011

Ive been here before with friends and we had a great time. They changed the menu to more Irish food. I had shepherds pie, was phenom! My friend who is very picky had the fish n chips and loved it. My sister had the Bangers n Mash, said she would eat that over and over again. My other friend had prime rib. She said it was like butter. Oh and i love the irish music they had playing. We will be back soon.
