I've had numerous visits to the chalet and each time was better than the last. The rooms are spacious and comfy beyond your expectations and the ladies are amazingly relaxing while fulfilling your every desire. The locationis perfect for the traveller looking for peace and tranquility. They have thought of everything and more. The breakfastin the morning will blow your taste buds away. Lots of good selections for dining in the area and lots of attractions to keep you busy, or you can just hang out om the huge deck off the chalet and take in the beautiful scenery. Its definitely a hidden oasis to be experienced.

This is the greatest place to get away, I have been there twice.it is wonderful for girls night, couples, family, significant other, anniversaries,holidays...completely surrounded in peace.Beautiful cabin with exquisite suites. Great welcoming, comforting decor. Margaret and Patty are the best! From welcoming you to their home to gourmet meals, desserts in evening, friendly conversation, places to go things to do, and directions!Their pride and their love for this home and business clearly shows through with cleanliness and accommodations(wine glasses, plates, movies, candles, robes, great coffee maker,fireplaces...list goes on and on!) the best is that it is the whole package when it comes to a Bed and Breakfast, far beyond any others! Just go!

Room Tip: all rooms are great..cant go wrong...I personally, enjoyed Lee Suite...again, all rooms are great, d...

Words can’t describe The Chalet, you must go to experience a home away from home. The Chalet is truly amazing, beautiful and immaculate in cleanliness. The owners Margret & Patty are absolutely wonderful. When you first arrive and they welcome you in you feel right at home. They help you with anything you need from planning your day, evening, reservations and best of all friendly conversation! The breakfasts are so delicious and not to mention after an afternoon of wine tasting to come home to a delightful dessert waiting for you! The Chalet is a must B&B to go to and trust us by day 1 you will be planning you return trip back! Jen & Jill

Room Tip: The balcony suite is the way to go!

My husband, Ryan and I stayed at the Chalet for 3 amazing nights to celebrate our anniversary. Our expectations were high because of all the Fabulous reviews we read but this is beyond perfection! The owners, Margaret and Pattie have just outdone themselves- no detail overlooked. They were so accommodating and made us feel more at home and comfortable than we have ever in any other B&B. The Chalet itself is just gorgeous and the 3-course breakfasts were gourmet at it's best. The owners make them theirselves and they are very talented and creative cooks...or I would call them chefs. We stayed in The Balcony Suite and it had an amazing fireplace and a huge tub big enough for two comfortably. We loved our stay at the Chalet and will definately be back!?...I accidentally hit that they have an excellent pool...there is no pool, I just couldn't figure out how to erase that.

It's a beautiful cabin with luxurious rooms and wonderful hosts! The evening cheesecake was a delightful surprise. They made sure we had everything we needed and took very good care of us. Thanks for a lovely and relaxing weekend.

My husband and I stayed at the Chalet for our last getaway before our baby is due, and we couldn't have had a better experience. It was peaceful, relaxing, and cozy; exactly what we had been hoping for. The owners made us feel welcome and took excellent care of us, giving us great recommendations for dining out and activities during the day. Best of all was the food! We were lucky enough to enjoy two breakfasts and a special dinner prepared by the owners, and each meal was outstanding. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We enjoyed staying in the Woodsview suite, but look forward to trying the other two rooms as well, a...

The chalet is a beautiful, large home in a beautiful wooded spot. We stayed in the Lee Room, which was huge and comfortable, with an enormous bathtub. You also have access two large living areas and a huge deck overlooking the woods and a pond. Very very comfy and homey. The Lee Room also had a small fridge and we stored leftovers from dinner one night and reheated them the next day. The breakfasts were delicious--absolutely scrumptious. Only once before, at the super posh Les Trois Rois in Basel, have I had a better breakfast. We had similar dishes at the next B&B we stayed at (poached pears, omelet with goat cheese), but didn't even want to finish them, they were so mediocre--a useful reminder that it's not just the recipe but the talent of the cook and the quality of the ingredients. I would go back to the Chalet just for the breakfasts. Desserts in the evening were a highlight for my son. (He even said the sofa bed in the Lee Room was comfortable.) Just looking at the kitchen, a wonderful space, was a pleasure. Overall, a wonderful place. We found the owners (Margaret and Pattie) wonderfully helpful, offering personalized advice on where to eat and what to do, with maps, menus, etc. Considering that we were just looking for a place to stop on a long drive on I-90, we really struck gold. We hope to be back soon.
