My wife and I went for the golf. Nice course, back nine much more scenic than the front, course in fine shape, but why do people not know how to repair ball marks? In early June, during the week, before the peak holiday season, the course was not very busy. GPS in the carts was helpful, but did not work during the last of our three rounds. The rooms are large and comfortable. The furnishings are very "rustic" but work well with the overall decor. I would suggest getting a room on the third floor, if you don't mind the walk up the stairs. We had a heavy stepper staying in the room above us and the noise woke us. The food in the clubhouse was better than expected, with good variety and very attentive staff. If you want to visit wineries in the area you will have to go for a long drive through the country, as most of the wineries are located around Seneca, Keuka and Cayuga lakes. The pool and hottub were not open because they had not opened them yet for the season. This was annoying because it was quite warm and we would have enjoyed a swim after golf. There are finer places to stay in the area, but Bristol Harbour offers a nice relaxing place to stay to enjoy some golf, and visit the area.
