“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We stayed at Cambridge Farm B & B for 3 nights while attending a local wedding. This is the nicest B&B we ever stayed. Great bed with nice sitting room. Woke up each morning to the smell of bacon. Breakfast was over the top. Quiche with lots of Cabot cheese, Blueberry french bread souffle, bacon, potatoes. Delicious. Porch with swing & rockers. Great place to read, relax, and enjoy the day. Walked into town. Nice book store. On Sunday I visited the farmers market. Local items Nice little town. Do not miss this B&B.

I stayed here for two nights. The hosts were gracious, the room was lovely and the breakfast was first class and very yummy. I was surprised not to have a television in my room but quickly adjusted, listening to NPR on the radio and surfing the web via the wi-fi. Very relaxing and perfectly lovely. Highly recommended!

We stopped at the Cambridge Farm B&B for one night and were welcomed by one of the owners, Jim. The place is very clean, lovely, quiet, relaxing and the beds are very, very, very comfortable. We sat on some porch rocking chairs, read books and watched deer in the field across the way. In the morning, Jim made a fabulous breakfast to order. There were wonderful homemade waffles with fresh strawberries, orange juice, tea and coffee, home fries and bacon as well as eggs and toast. Jim is a great cook! We went there to pick up some bees at Betterbee and if we pick up more next year, will definitely stay at the Cambridge Farm B&B.

My wife and I just got back from a wonderful "mini vacation" to Saratoga Springs Raceway and surrounding area. We stayed at Cambridge Farm B & B and had an excellent experience. Warm and welcoming from the first moment to the last. Spotless, comfortable and quiet. Two nights in the "Cambridge Room" in that wonderful bed was what the doctor ordered. Jim and Kerri are the perfect host and hostess. Great conversation over delicious breakfasts both days. So nice to have a beverage table with many choices and a full ice bucket at the end of the day. What a great value. Don't miss it! We'll be back!

We ended up staying here last minute when our reservation for a long weekend at the Cambridge Hotel was changed and we were moved here instead. The owners had not planned to have guests that weekend, but they were incredibly warm and accommodating none the less. We had a long drive from Montreal, but they made sure we had snacks and drinks on our arrival. The room was fantastic and the bed was one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in.
The next morning, the owners had another commitment to attend to which meant they could not serve breakfast as they normally would. We had planned on fending for ourselves for breakfast anyway, but they were extremely apologetic for not being able to offer the full B&B experience and insisted we have coffee, tea and juice and cookies before leaving.
This is a small B&B in a small town, but I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again. The owners are friendly and welcoming and turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire weekend. If you have any reason to stay overnight in/around Cambridge, make sure you stay here!

The hosts Jim and Kerri are wonderful. Really easy going, and a pleasure to get to know and chat with. Their B & B is spotless, and they really pay attention to detail. The bed we slept on had wonderful pillows along with a fabulous mattress (not the norm at a lot of other B & B's we stayed at in the past). Plush guest robes were a snuggly bonus.
And Jim's fabulous made from scratch waffles were to die for! I had seconds against my will power. They were too good to pass up (hit the gym today). The overall breakfast and table setting was great. Little touches of great hosts, fabulous beds, robes, delicious breakfasts are what we love to find when we stay at B & B's, and they offer all of them. Looking forward to staying there again in our travels. And it's a quick trip to Saratoga at a much better price.

Room Tip: They have photos of each and are happy to discusss

If you're looking for a B&B in the Cambridge, NY area (close to Manchester VT), look no further than this little gem! It's a neat, clean, well appointed farm Victorian with loads of charm located just outside the village of Cambridge NY and is close to VT ski areas. The owners, Jim and Kerri are the nicest people and they cook up wonderful breakfasts each morning! You won't regret staying at this B&B and the breakfast is unlike any you'll find at other B&Bs.
