Food - There are 2 restaurants, a starbucks and ice cream shop. Please note that you have a choice to do the meal plans or not. We didmt realize there was a more relaxed restaurant that easily can bring children. The main dining room is not such a kid-friendly environment. Although we did go some nights (more formal). The food was good, not awesome but not bad.
Room - The room had 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, dining, living and kitchen area and outside porch. It was a nice size but TV was non-hd and internet was extremely slow and cost $10/day. One pass for parking for room, guests park by timeshare office. There is also a deli/pizza/market right there as well. I believe a certain time you get free coffee and paper. Our room had a wet carpet the whole time as they cleaned carpet and it never dried all the way. Also, you need to clean kitchen before you leave.
Hotel - There is a hotel with timeshare/hotel rooms and separate timeshare condos
(not within hotel)We stayed in a separate 2 bedroom timeshare condo. The hotel has many amenities: indoor/outdoor pool, 2 bar/lounge, auditorium, game room, arcade, bouncy house area, tennis, basketball, bocce, racket ball, squash, bowling, a gym plus shops/spas..etc. They provide a daily activity sheet..sort of like a cruise but on land.
The Mezzanine bar was nice and can sit outside and seats outside bar so feel more comfy with kids, the other lounge was no windows ant suitable for kids but larger for functions. We saw a show in the auditorium which was nice.
There are shuttle buses that run all day/night for the guests who don't want to walk. It is a small walk to hotel from timeshare units.
We went on a week (fall) that was mostly seniors. We were the only people with kids (it seemed
). I heard in the summer it gets packed with kids.

The Villa Roma has many different areas where you can enjoy a meal. The Main Dining Room is of course, a more formal setting where you are served full five course meals, and certainly not leaving hungry. We also have a more casual Garden Café, a Deli on site, a pool grill in the summer, golf course grill room for the golfers, and also room service! We also have some great coffee and ice cream shops available if you want someone to snack on!
Our rooms at Villa Roma are constantly updated every three to five years and kept clean and ready to go for our guests. We apologize for the trouble you had with your wireless internet, but are happy to announce that we are now in the process of a very large property wide upgrade that will give us state of the art wireless internet access. All wireless internet on the property is free!
The summertime is in fact a very busy time of year for us. Our resort is seasonal and year round, and no matter what time of year you visit, there is always something to do. The summertime of course is our peak time, and that is when all of our activities and amenities are in full swing. It is certainly a great time of year to come especially if you have children.
We thank you again for sharing your review with us. We look forward to your return visit. Take care!
