Overall a very nice hotel. I personally didn't like the 2 way mirror looking thing at the head of the bed and also wish that there were other bigger bed sizes to chose from.

Hotel is easy to get into with lots of parking. It’s about four miles off the interstate. It has two floors with interior doors. Breakfast area is right in the lobby around the desk. Check in was easy and the front receptionist was very pleasant.

Rooms are large with modern furnishings. Furnishings included two queen beds, lamps, counter top with two chairs, flat TV and clock radio. A small closet is available. The room also had a nice overstuffed chair and ottoman, fridge and microwave. Three pillows were provided with each bed. Linens appeared new. Beds were great. No iron and ironing board is provided. The bathroom has a single sink. Lots of hot water was available. Wall paper was coming off the walls at most seems in the bathroom. Other than that the rooms were well kept up. Four sets of towels were provided, which is unusual these days. There was a cushion on a window seat over the AC unit. It was a very cool touch.

Internet worked great. No password needed.

Breakfast was Ok, but space is tight and they seemed to be out of everything all the time. Offerings included two juices, 2% milk, hot cereal, three kinds of cold cereal, bagels, bread, English muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt and three kinds of fruit. Coffee and tea were also available.

Rooms were above average, breakfast below average. Would stay here again without question.

As they say you get what you pay for. Read some of the recent reviews and wondered if we stayed at the same place. Maybe if you're on the top floor it's quiet. On the 1st floor you can hear every toilet flush, shower running and foot step of the person above you not to mention the activity with the bed squeaking. (We swear there was a hooker above us. Every 1/2 to 45 minutes the bed would squeak for 15 mins, then a shower run then engine start out side. right in that order. This was repeated until 4am) We did go out to the desk to say something around 3am but couldn't locate anyone. And then there was the rude person down the hall with the little yappy dog that went to breakfast at 7am...next time take the dang thing with you! Don't leave it in the room to cry and scratch it's crate until you return.
Good thing I bring my own clorox wipes. The cleaning staff needs retraining badly! At least the one we had does. Behind the toilet seat cover looked like it hadn't been sanitized in ages. The sink and tub faucets were caked with white streaks from lack of proper cleaning. The metal toilet paper holder had enough crud on it I could literally scrape it off. It had obviously not been cleaned in months. The mirror had water spots and toothpaste left on it. We purposely left a piece of paper the size of a 1/2dollar beside the trash in the bathroom to see if it was being swept, because we didn't think it had been. The piece of paper stayed there the entire 3 days.
The sleeping area itself was ok. It really needs updating with a good paint job. The ceiling was mottled with long water damage stains directly above the bed.
The bed was comfy and made nicely. TV and internet were a plus.
As for breakfast if you like a clean counter eat else where (we did). All 3 mornings we did go for coffee. The staff stood at the reception desk chatting among themselves while the counter is covered in cereal, salt, milk and all kinds of yuck.
We are very easy going folks and not germaphobes but we'll never stay here again.

We stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights and found it to be very adequate for our needs. The price was definitely in our budget. The room was small but comfortable. It was clean and accepted our small dog, most of all - ALL the security doors worked as they were supposed to. The staff was extremely accommodating and responded to our needs; from extra towels to a bottle opener. The breakfast, though limited, was good with EXCELLENT coffee (by the way there was no coffee-maker in the room). The hotels location was superb, close to Fort Drum, Walmart, MacDonald's, Arby's, and a number of Chinese restaurants. Watertown, NY is just a short distance away and provides quite a few well known restaurants. The bottom line is we will be using this hotel again for short stays.

If you are looking for a Resort and all the high priced amenities that usually go along with those places, you need to go somewhere else.

If price, convenience, security, and a pleasant stay is what you want, then try this place.
