“Frozen french fies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

My first trip to the new Yankee Stadium. We enjoyed Monument Park and the Museum. The new ballpark is magnificant. It was too cold to really enjoy the game. Only stayed for a few innings.and missed the triple play. A hot dog with french fries turned into a hot dog with frozen french fries. Needed a sweatshirt to try and stay warm but $90 is nuts. When you go to a game in April you really take your chances with the weather.

“Experience the Best, Live the Legend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

It won't matter what the score is, because if you've watched a game in Yankee Stadium, you have experienced greatness. The best team, the best fans, at this new venue where new history is being made. There are plenty of eateries, souvenir stands, and rest rooms. In the summer try to get a seat with a cover. It gets pretty hot in the sun. Of course if you do have a seat in the sun don't forget your shades, Yankee cap, and your camera to catch more memories. You must get a hot dog, fry, and beer to complete your bucket list, and around the 7th inning get your Yankee ice cream for dessert So bring cash or credit card. Yes, it's pricey, but certainly priceless.

“Penthouse of Ballparks.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Love them or hate them, they have A LOT of history. Which makes Yankee Stadium worth going to. First stop is Memorial Park inside the stadium. Second is the museum on the 2nd floor. Third stop is the gift shops.
Honestly Yankee stadium might make you sick of seeing both pinstripes and blue, there really is to much of it. But the stadium does have the feel of money.
The staff there is the friendliest staff you ever want to meet. They will joke with you help you find where you need to go and also let you change seats if you are freezing to death in April. Only if the seat is available of course. Had a great experience and probably will go back again.

“Nice stadium, but could have much better food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

The quality and variety of food they sell here is pretty awful. The new stadium was a perfect opportunity to sell gourmet food and drinks to people who come from all over to watch a baseball game or concert. Instead, all they sell is bland and starchy pizza, pretzels, and hot dogs. Citi Field puts Yankee Stadium to shame.

“Disappointing for a new stadium”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Having visited many other new baseball stadiums recently, our family was disappointed with this one. Built mainly of concrete, the outside looks more like a government institution than a sports stadium. Once inside, after passing by police officers at gate (makes you feel less than safe) the walls lack murals or other decorations having to do with the sport. If driving your own car, make sure to pick a parking lot with security. We made sure to walk to and from the stadium with a group of other people for safety.
