The kids absolutely love it here! Not only is it a beautiful hike (that kids hike with water shoes, right IN the water), but there is a great watering hole with a swing that the kids swing of into the water on!

“Lovely quiet nature spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

Nature's beauty displayed, preserved. This little park is a lovely island of tranquility, with a creek running through it. Quiet. Quiet. A favorite.

“Great nature hike right in Brighton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

The north end of the park is nice, but nothing special. The parking lot is tiny, and difficult to maneuver in. The south end has better parking (on-street) and a stunning approach to the park, as you walk through the tunnel under the rail line. Here are the falls of Allen's Creek, and in late autumn, there are actually sometimes salmon swimming upstream!

This is a great place to walk a dog - the only thing missing is a rubbish bin for waste - you have to carry it out.
