“Fabulous & Brand New!”

Wonderful place, brand new cabins, fantastic Tavern with a fireplace you have to see to believe. The views are gorgeous across the lake, sunrise and sunset are both wonderful. We want to go back in another season. There's also a little playground (still under construction) for kids to play.

I had been planning my engagement for several months and found Blue Water Manor. I called ahead and spoke to Sara, I explained my plans and asked if she could help me set up the perfect place to propose. We went back and forth and made a decision. We arrived at the property on a perfect day with sun and beautiful fall foliage. Sara set up an amazing table with champagne, candles and flowers over looking the lake at sunset, Luke helped out with the champagne and dinner reservations and the owner came over later and wished us luck. The food at the restaurant was great. We ate inside a giant fire place that was warmed by a much smaller fire place. There was a great bonfire outside at night and breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake was spectacular in the morning.

About half the property has been renovated and they are still working on the other half. Our Cabin was un-renovated and typical of what you would find from an older Adirondack cabin. It was clean and quaint and I would stay there again. I did not get to see the inside of the new renovated cabins but judging from the outside they are very nice. I truly believe that staff makes or breaks the place that you stay at. These folks were amazing and truly helped make for an unforgettable weekend. Thank you guys, we will be back again!

Visited on a weekend in September for a friends wedding after the season officially ended. Room rates were quite reasonable. The location on Lake George is breathtaking. Stayed in a newly renovated cabin with a King size bed. The beds were comfortable but the room was sparsely appointed, and had no chair, dresser or refrigerator. The rugs were damp and the bathroom floors were freezing since it was September. The Tavern, restaurant was only steps away, so it was very convenient. The burger and broccoli soup for lunch was delicious, accompanied by a refreshing beverage called a Shandy. The service and hospitality by the staff was warm and comforting like the beautiful hearth in the dining room. Surprisingly, the menu was a little pricey. They are continuing to update and modernize the Lodge with renovations so by next summer Bolton's Landing will have a rustic gem to be reckoned with!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a newly renovated room with an iron and refrigerator!

Great Location about 5 miles north of Lake George's Business Area. Many of the Cabins are renovated. Simple but they have clean, new showers and rooms. Very nice location with beautiful views. The restaurant draws locals and visitors a like. Good Quality Food and again a great location overlooking the lake. We recently spent a weekend (September). It was quiet. Might be a bit loud during summer time. Nice new boat deck and slips.

Room Tip: Ask for their renovated cabins if you want the newer ones.

We spent four days at the Blue Water Manor in Lake George in early August. Had not visited the area in many years, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very nice, the service excellent and very friendly and the food was wonderful, as well as the drinks and the entertainment. It is a lively place, good for young and old, sure to please everybody. The views are fantastic, since it is right on the lake, and you can enjoy a drink or a meal on the deck overlooking the lake. The whole area is teeming with activity, so you can rest and relax all you want or enjoy the different activities from the hotel or nearby. Would definetely recommend this place.

Room Tip: Front rooms have great views of the lake, may choose brand new cabins, very well appointed or rustic...

We visit Bolton Landing every year for a long weekend. Stayed in one of the newly renovated cottages and were very pleased. So far the nicest we've stayed in. Easy access to the tavern/restaurant was so nice as we actually spent our first day (checked in at 3) at the lodge and bar/restaurant. Would definitely call for a reservation if it is during a busy weekend as we were there for Labor Day weekend and it was quite booked. Food was great. Live music made us not want to leave.

Looking forward to going back next year!

Room Tip: This place would be great for families as well. Great pirate ship playground, fire pit area, canoes...

We just got back from 2 nights at Blue Water Manor. We joined my older sister/brother inlaw on their trip. They vacationed here with their 37 old daughter when she was growing up. There are a lot of memories here for them. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Front desk girl explained about some of the rooms not being updated and that we could move rooms if not happy but i chose to stay in the lake front room of G2 which is old but clean. The view was worth it. We sat outside on the balcony both nights looking right down over the lake! Loved the restaurant, food very tasty and prices resonable. Service was great!! Steps down to the swimming docks were of stone so be careful going down but well worth it. Once down there you swim right off the docks or ladder leading into the water. Small sandy area for children to play. There is a very friendly helpful dock attendant who will help with free kayaks , paddle boats. Wishing there was paddle boards too. I like the fact that know one bothered you and it was peaceful. Some of these small lake properties the owners watch everything. Not here. Lots of families, young couples with kids. Very friendly people. We brought our own pillows, sleeping bags too just in case. The reno is looking beautiful. owners live across the lake and while at the restaurant there was alot of talk among guests about the new owners. We overlook the renovations due to the history that my sister has with her husband and daughter learning how to water ski at the property. Uncle Frank used to love the included water sports of the olden days. We wish the new owners would bring that back but we understand about insurance. Chicks Marina is close for rentals.
Everyone needs an Uncle
Frank as stated by the young front desk girl. She was great!! That's the main reason why we booked. To continue with the memories. Bartenders waiters, waitresses really are making the place! The BWM is heading in the right direction.!! Hoping they won't raise the rates too much when completed!

Room Tip: Renovated rooms are lovely. I chose the G2 room for the views. When the rooms overlooking the lake...
