“Awesome Quick Mexican Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

I have eaten lunch here a few times in the last two weeks while working nearby. The tacos and burritos are unconventional but delicious and innovative. The fresh fried chips and excellent guac are a perfect side. They have beef or spinach and cheese empanadas on occasion and they are crispy, hot and delicious - and at $2 each a real price performer. The restaurant is immaculate and has a hand painted Día de los Muertos themed mural taking up an entire wall. It's a short walk from the train station and seems to be open all the time. If you are in Beacon around lunchtime you can't go wrong at Tito Santana. You'll be happy you tried it.

“Friendly and fun place with delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Tito Santana's is one of my favorite places to eat in Beacon. The tacos and quesedillas are terrific, but my favorite dish is the pork burrito. The blue chips and guacamole are also excellent. Try the ginger limeade too, because it's ridiculously good. Oh and the decor -- one entire wall is filled with a huge Day of the Dead mural. Must be seen to be believed.

“Favorite spot in my own town, recommend to others constantly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

If you're coming to Beacon for a day of running around, I recommend this place. If you live here and you don't want to cook dinner, go here. I love the tacos because they are clean with a variety of textures and tastes. The roasted corn is juicy with just a little heat. The soups and specials are always changing so there is always something new to try. If you get lucky and get a bit of flan, you will not regret it. I also love that they serve Boylan's, among other good sodas and drinks.

As for the atmosphere and staff, I can't find a happier, more hopping place. Everyone is friendly. The decor is bizarre but beautiful. Like most shops in Beacon, they support local artists, too.

“A favorite treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012 via mobile

From the day they opened their doors, we have been thrilled with this addition to the Beacon dining landscape. The menu is small but full of selections with ingredients that appeals to me. My favorites so far are the corn chowder and the pork tacos...you can taste the freshness the corn and the pork is moist and delightful. Make no mistake, this is more like South of the Border inspired fare vs. restaurant-Mexican, and the difference is a treat. Service is always friendly and the original artwork and the bright, airy decor adds to a great overall experience.

“Quick and easy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Stopped in a whim after a day of kayaking. Simple menu of Mexican fare. Burrito with guacamole/chips. Didn't even realize it was vegetarian until after we ordered, thinking "they never asked what kind of burrito we wanted." I guess they assume veg unless specified. Chips and guacamole werevservedcfirst while the burritos cooked. Nice warm chips with coarse salt and homemade guacamole. I could have just eaten that! Burritos we're good too, filled with brown rice, corn and black beans. Nice salsa/sour cream on the side. Not really cheap. $8.99 for what we got, without chips/guacamole was $5.99.
