“Great food and wonderful beer selection.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

With a menu that changes with the seasons, there is something for everyone. Truffle Arancini and Smoked Gouda Mac n Cheese are permanent fixtures for very good reason. The service is friendly and the bar is a great place to spend a couple hours.

“Great Place for Appetizers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

We were heading to another restaurant and decided to try this place as it is fairly new and seemed to resemble a city café with a posh setting and feel. The food was good, although some of the orders were a bit on the smaller side and litter pricey, but very tasty overall.

The service was very good and the ambience is something to experience with a group of friends or an intimate bite out after a show or before dinner. Unfortunately the menu is bit on the smaller side and without entrees.

I would come back again.

“Don't forget to ask about any specials!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

I've eaten at almost every "fine" restaurant on Long Island and many of the top rated in Manhattan. Tullulah's is one of my absolute favorite places. The atmosphere, staff, management, prices, food, drinks....anything else? are all done with a high level of care. Kudos to the owner and management for picking such a great team as their staff. AND DID I MENTION THE FOOD??? I have never had a dish I didnt want to order again and again. The hardest part about eating here is narrowing down my choices. The only thing better than the items on the menu are the very randomly selected specials. Basically the chef gets some fresh fish or meat and decides he wants to do a special item. If they have a special that night then order it without question. Also, ask about wine pairings: the manager is very knowledgeable on this front and can help you select a great wine for your meal. If you're there on a Friday night you will almost undoubtedly see me and the woman sitting up front thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

“Tullulah's is very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

First, need to change the name on the Tripadvisor page (which I submitted). No longer Tullulah's Gourmet Take Out since the expansion/reopening. Now just Tullulah's. Could be steering people away. Now on to the review. Ate a late lunch at Tullulah's today after watching a review on the Long Island Restaurant Hunter show. I had the Pork Belly Cheese Burger (Grass Fed Beef, House Smoked Pork Belly, Brie, LTOP). Outstanding. Beef cooked exactly as I requested (medium). The pork belly added another taste demension that was far superior to regular bacon. Brie (on the bottom) was generous and tasty. Wife had the Chicken Apple Salad (Apples, Goat Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Greens, Honey-Thyme Vinaigrette). Also available as a wrap. She loved hers and my taste agreed. The only disappointment were the house fries which are available with a varitey of spices (Old Bay, black pepper, lemon sea salt or cajun dust; for additional cost truffle oil). While clearly house cut/made and spices tasty, (I had black pepper & lemon sea salt) mine were very limp and almost soggy (but not oily). As I do not know if they are fried to order it is possible due to late lunch time (2PM) that they had been in the hold stage for awhile. I think most people prefer crisp fries. Regardless, we are looking forward to returning for dinner. For now I rate this restaurant very good and hopefully after dinner excellent. P.S. We ate at the bar. Bartender was professional and courteous, answering our many questions.
