My family and I stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to Toronto. If you are looking for a restful night's sleep after a long day of driving DO NOT stay here. There is a bar with karaoke downstairs and it sounds like the music is in your room. I asked if I could switch rooms and the lady at the desk didn't respond yes or no, she just looked at me like I was crazy. The hotel smelled musty and reeked of cigarettes on the non-smoking floor. The rooms are in terrible need of renovation with wallpaper peeling from the walls. The bathroom tub needed to be cleaned and the carpet did not look vacuumed. I would not recommend this place and would not go back if I had the opportunity.

If you're visiting Darien Lake Theme Park and want a cheap place to stay, this is your place. Thanks to RoomSaver, my family was able to book a two doubles room for just $54, which is even lower than the $58 on the RoomSaver coupon, and well below the $90 I found online. The room was great, the breakfast was free and satisfying, and the environment was quite nice for a hotel located just off the I-90 Thruway. The only drawbacks were the lack of a "do not disturb" sign in my room, as well as the inability to dial a 800 number from my laptop computer. I had several hotels to choose from in the area, and I'm glad I chose this one - and it's not just the price!

Check-in at 5 PM, room not ready, but put us in a different room instead of with our group of 3 rooms. Big and small hunks of Plaster laying on the hallway floor that they apologized for saying the electrician did it and they would have to get it cleaned up. 7 AM the next morning it still lay on the floor when we left. The door had a horrid squeak that would be heard the other end of the motel. (see picture of the door hinge). The bathroom sink wouldnt drain. After 2 trips to the front desk, they came with Liquid plumber saying That ought to do it It did NOT. The water drained about 1/2 hour after each use. We decided not to take a shower after finding the tub drain the same. The a/c-heating unit was horrid looking (see picture and I did not take the cover off, the pic shows the way we found it) it functioned about half.
The overall cleanliness of the room was not good and the stairway hall beside our room smelled of animal urine and the smell strayed into our room. Evidently all of this is the Limited part of Ramada as Ive never stayed in such horrid conditions in a Ramada. Well ... at least the bedding and towels were crisp clean white. The others in our group said the same thing.. this hotel is a dump.

We often stop there when we visit our relatives in Buffalo. we never been to happy with the run down place, but it was always convenient and not too expensive to just catch some sleep. the last time we were there, there was a new manager who seemed to really care about the condition of the hotel and we saw a lot of improvement (the guy even hunted down an extra pillow and brought it to us personally after the woman at the front desk told us there was none). Unfortunateley, our last stay there looked like the hotel was going back to its old dingy, run down, looking self, and wouldn't you know it...they got rid of the manager who seemed to be doing a lot of things to make that hotel better (when we were in the bar, we heard a couple of the employees scheming against this guy to get rid of him.....looks like they got their wish......I think we'll just find somewhere else too!!!)
