My son had a friday night high school football game against Batavia and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before the game, knowing that the food at the game would be poor after fighting a long line. I was flying solo so I grabbed a seat at the bar and a tall Oktoberfest beer. I had a couple sips from the beer while reviewing the menu then ordered the Bison Burger. The place was somewhat busy since it was Friday night, mostly couples and some families coming in for table seats, while some also ate at the bar. The place reminds me of an old town tavern with a modern menu. Nothing fancy here, so if you want a good selection of beer and somewhat upscale bar food selections then your expectations will be correct.
It took forever for my food to arrive, probably 25 - 30 minutes, which seemed long since I needed to make the game start and I was sipping my beer slowly so as not to order another. The food finally arrived just after asking the waitress how much longer. First bite into the burger I thought I was in heaven. Burger was cooked perfectly, just the right size, moist & juicy. Fries were also very good. I must admit I don't eat burgers and fries much due to my diet restrictions but when I do this is the one I want.
If the rest of the food is as good as this then I would highly recommend Bourbon & Burger Co. I left happy, satisfied and ready to watch a high school football game. My son's team also won the game, bonus!
