“We love Cedar Rapids!”

Convenient location situated directly on the Delaware that features different camping experiences - secluded woods, riverfront, sandy riverbank, whatever calls you. Easy car-camping with the added bonus of their onsite bar/restaurant (newly updated..looking good!) and river craft rental service. My only negative remark would be the bathroom/shower rooms. Hoping they're next to be remodeled!

CR is awesome and keeps my crew coming back year after year. This past weekend was my 5th visit and I'm already thinking about the next!

What a beautiful place clearly much better than the last time i visited. It seems it's under new management and what a wonderful remodel they have done. The place is much cleaner n the menu is spectacular. When u go try the salmon BLT it's awesome n the Caesar salad is geniurmous. The staff is friendly n very welcoming.

I've come here twice already this summer and love it! Aside from the beautiful setting along the Delaware River, the owner and her staff were very warm and welcoming. The waitresses checked our table often to make sure everything was alright. The burger I had the first time was excellent (no frozen patty) but tasty black Angus beef. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had and the chicken wings were delicious! I will be back for more this year.

This place was disgustingly filthy. The womens bathroom looked as if it had never been cleaned. Sand and dirt covered the floors, cobwebs and spiders everywhere. Half of the ceiling tile was out. The smell was overwhelming.
Our campsite was sandwiched in between 1 group of men smoking marijuana and another group of men drinking and partying til 4 am. At least the druggies passed out at a decent hour. The party goers played music so loud that campers up stream could hear them. The only time the management said anything was when they started shooting fireworks. Which they went to every campsite to let them know not to shoot fireworks. Not once did they ask them turn down the noise. We had to cut our trip short so we could go home and sleep. Ridiculous!

A couple of buddies and I went rafting on the Delaware river. We where searching for a place to stay that had both a camp ground and cabins. After doing some research on the internet we chose Cedar Rapids because they also had a bar. We ended up renting a cabin and pitching two tents exactly in front of it. What more could we ask for? We had plenty of space around the cabin (that is cabin 1) and also a fire pit. The location of the cabin was not exactly on the river but on a rocky brook very close to the river, which I preferred because most of the river banks where muddy and the water coming upstream from the brook was super clean (not so sure about the river), giving us easy access to a fresh water supply.
Portable toilets were located around the site and they were pretty clean.
The staff was also polite and helpful.
The one thing I did not like was the 2 dollars they would charge us to use their phone. 6 people x 2 phone calls per day X 2 days x 2 dollars = 48$. By the way no signal on three major cell phone networks. They should just install a payphone or charge something more reasonable.
