What a great start to our holiday. When we arrived at the famous "White Shark Lodge", we were welcomed with such warm and friendly staff! We had some freshly made coffee and nibbled on some breakfast. We didn't want to eat too much because we didn't want to get sick. Luckily we did drink some seasickness tablets. After everyone arrived and ate, the skipper - Grant - gave us a briefing and all the crew members helped us into the life jackets. Everyone was so excited to meet the Great White Shark and let me tell you, you could feel the energy! it was about a 20 min boat drive to where the skippered anchored the boat. The crew then prepped everything, while those that wanted to go inside the cage put on the wet-suits. Obviously I am was not passing up this opportunity. When we got into the cage it was no more than 5 minutes when the first one appeared! It took my breath away and I was in another world. They are the most intimidating animals, but so elegant and beautiful in their own surroundings. We saw about 7 sharks and the biggest was 3.5 meters. You could see the skipper and his crew are really passionate about these animals and they shared really good information.
Back on land we took a shower and had some delicious home made soup and watched our encounter with the sharks! I will recommend White Shark Projects to all my friends! Professional friendly staff that made us feel part of the family! Amazing experience! Thanks to everyone
