“Friendly, Clean, Quiet, Nicely Decorated Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Susan made us feel more like we were guests in her home. We ended up staying 3 nights and really hated to leave. Susan was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The price was very good. Rescue, the little dog was very sweet, very friendly and extremely well behaved. The atmosphere was great! We hope to go back.

Room Tip: My son is an adult. I did not check to see if there were kids activities. Any room would be quiet...

Have stayed here several times and for extended stays. You can be sure you will get a clean comfortable room at a great price. The manager goes above and beyond to accomodate you. Best deal in town in my opinion. Sure beats the sterile environments of the big box chain motels.

A classic motel deal -- no extras of any kind but clean and no complaints.
A family business, which to me is better than equivalent priced franchises.
Good gateway location for exploring Gila National Forest.

Room Tip: this place is fairly small so I am not sure there are big differences in the rooms, but you may have...

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice friendly welcome to the motel.
clean place which was very good value. Also enjoyed the town. Nice relaxed place to visit with interesting buildings and unusual colours. Unusual name for the town.

We've stayed at the Oasis twice in the past couple of years and enjoyed it both times. The size of rooms varies greatly (and they are priced accordingly), so it's worth investigating the available rooms when you arrive. I'd second the 'clean, well-run, friendly, and cheap' comments of another reviewer, as well as the comment about what's beyond the 'back gate'. On our latest visit, we had the room just inside the gate and didn't hear anything after about 10 o'clock; up until then it was just an occasional car door slam or loud conversation. (The adobe walls of the units muffles most other noises.)

Room Tip: Ask to check out the available rooms before registering; they vary widely in size & amenities.

The place was interesting, clean, well-run, friendly and ... cheap! What more can you ask for on a trip through the most interestingly named city in the state. You can walk to a decent array of eateries. I ended up here due to vehicle problems but it was a nice place to stay while me ride was repaired in town. Overall ammenities is 3 stars but price and the rest is 4 stars. A nice place. I like older establishments like this and they have to be good to evoke good (not bad memories)! Worth a stop, t be sure.

I tell people that "quaint" means old small and expensive.

Anyway this was an old, small but reasonably priced room. It was clean but a bit worn.
It was ok for an old style motor lodge (I am not nostalgic for them myself). It did have a
flat screen TV and through the back gate was a bowling alley with a bar. The owner and there
was coffee in the morning. The location was ok. Internet was problematic but owner ]said they were working on it.

If your never been to Truth or Consequences (also known as T or C) well it probably won't be what you expect.
