“Ok for an overnight stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

Breakfast was the best part of the stay....not the usual buffet but cooked to order breakfast from a limited menu in the restaurant. Pool is advertised as "Heated".....it is not, it is freezing cold. Hot tub room needs work - don't look up. Older property, needs some repair and some cleaning but met our needs. Hotel allowed us to park our motorcycles under the covered drive area which was very nice.

The made to order breakfast options are a nice option to the hot continental, and the manager's snacks were was a nice break after swimming. The room was not quite large enough for a roll away, but there was plenty of storage. The room was prepaid for and a request for the roll away was made then, but we waited over two hours for the cot; it would have been a perk if the bed was in the room and the A/C turned on.

I think looking at the room you could tell that this was an older hotel. However, the room was clean and comfortable. To find a hotel that has a restaurant and lounge for this price is somewhat uncommon. If you take into consideration the free breakfast in the restaurant then you will find this stay to be really affordable. We had a pool side room and there were many chairs and tables in the grass areas. This made for a bit of noise with people having a few beers at night but still, a great place to sit out and enjoy the evening. The service was friendly and we were given an Information sheet with "things to do in Taos" that we found helpful as well.

The quality inn at Taos is a great value and they are service orientated. Breakfast is a real offering of food , not a buffet! The roOms are dated and there is some smoke smell in the halls. We return in the future.

Considering the free breakfast (REAL breakfast, as in eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc off a menu. Not your usual free hotel breakfast), great location, friendly staff, cleanliness, and reasonable price, this is an excellent place to stay. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Taos, but I can vouch for the Quality Inn and say that it is a great deal. Check around on Priceline and such to find the best rate.

Seriously? We must have had an area that was not updated, EVER! It was actually pretty gross. You could enter off from the parking area or access from the hallway. The room was really "rough" and bathroom needed tons of work. Old TV that didn't work well. We had initially planned to stay two nights but decided that wasn't going to happen. I have never been disappointed with a quality Inn before and wonder who is reviewing this place and putting their stamp of approval on it. I wish I could remember the room number, but alas, that isn't happening! The hot tub area was in need of some cleaning.. don't look up!

Room Tip: Do not get a room that has access from the parking lot, apparently there are big discrepancies in th...

My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn in Taos for three nights in April. The room was nice sized, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay great. The greatest part about this stay was the breakfast served in the dining room. It was not like your normal buffet with cookie cutter food.......this place had you order from a menu of four items....cooked in the kitchen as to how you wanted it. Finally, the happy hour in the bar was just great with very cheap drinks and snacks. You won't go wrong staying here....

Room Tip: We had no problems whatsoever........Will stay here everytime we get to this area.
